Meh. Better Properties Exist Nearby

Room size

For some reason to turn up the thermostat in my room I had to go down to the front desk where staff control the “master switch.” Very inconvenient (what — they don’t trust guest to control their own room temp)? Strange. Bar food was also lacking (the “Crispy Potatoes” were anything but). Will stay at other properties next time I’m in the area.

Wonderful hotel near the airport

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, and close to the airport

the temperature was difficult to control in the room so we had to open our windows, but that caused a ghost-like draft that was very noisy. The walls are also not super soundproof so we heard all the staff doing their rounds early in the morning

Se hicieron cargo de la mejor manera!

No pudieron alojarnos por un problema de reparaciones. Nos enviaron a un hotel más cercano al aeropuerto y de mejor categoría. También se hicieron cargo de transfers. Siempre puede pasar algo, y lo importante es saber cómo reaccionas. Bueno, reaccionaron impecablemente.

Fijn verblijf

Hele fijne bedden, we hadden een upgrade gekregen en er was een miscommunicatie betreft de kinderen maar dat werd ook snel opgelost met een extra bed.

Locatie is niet bijzonder mooi maar denk dat het hotel ook meer als luchthaven hotel functioneert

Lage top, Zimmer o.k.

Die Lage an der Küste ist schön.. In näheren Umgebung gibt es zahlreiche internationale Restaurants und einen 24//7 Supermarkt. Der Herr am Empfang ist sehr nett und professionell. Selbst nach dem Check-Out kümmert man sich noch um die Gäste und prüft die rechtzeitige Ankunft des Taxis. Dickes Lob für die sehr gute Arbeitsauffassung der Mitarbeiter.

Das Hotel hat, trotz der hohen Preisklasse, kein Flughafenshuttle. Für die An- und Abreise mit dem Taxi müssen, je nach Uhrzeit noch einmal 40-50 Euro gerechnet werden. Das Hotel ist zwar sehr edel ausgestattet, aber die Standart-Zimmer sind eher durchschnittlich und rechtfertigen den hohen Preis (in diesem Fall 170 Euro) nicht. Sollte man das Pech haben und nach einer Reisegruppe ankommen, kann die Wartezeit am Check-In schon mal 60 Minuten betragen.

Great base for a sightseeing trips in the southwest.

Grocery store is close. Breakfast was very good, but I still don't understand the beans for the breakfast. People must love holding back things or aroma theraphy in the long drives or during flights.

-USB chargin slots broken in both rooms I was staying. -Glass bathroom door handles were lose in both rooms. I fixed one with my allen wrench on my first room, but was too tired to fix it in my second room.

1st time visiting Iceland with a 4 night stay at this hotel, I would definitely stay again. 😊

It was absolutely beautiful and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming

Very nice lobby and marble floors, don’t set you expectations very high.

Food in restaurant was decent

There was foul odor in the room. It may have been from outside but we only noticed it when we got in the room. It was also quite noisy. Sounded like a party was happening a floor above. The room phone had no dial tone so we could not call the front. We had an early morning flight and did not get much rest at all. We were in room 326.

Friendly and approachable staff and good location!!

Conveniently located near Keflavík airport, so if you’re arriving late or departing early, this would be a comfortable option!! We came from the Blue Lagoon before checking in and it was only 20 minutes away.

Superb

The decor is very nice, staff were friendly and helpful.

Breakfast buffet was only okay. The gluten free bread was served poorly and couldn't be eaten. The SPA/gym is closed which I didn't notice until after I'd booked, my fault but still a shame. No instructions on how to use the safe had to get a member of staff to show me.

very expensive short taxi ride to and from the airport so you need to add at least £50 to the cost of the stay - should be a shuttle bus for so many hotels close together.

Great hotel, close to airport, comfortable beds- ideal for early morning flights

We only stayed for about 10 hours, the night before an early flight. The room is a bit small for 3 people (two single beds and a sofa bed), but the beds were very comfortable, luxury toiletries provided, fluffy towels- and the water did not smell of sulphur as in our previous apartment. The restaurant and bar were full on a Saturday night, very nice atmosphere. Quick check in and check out. Nice Italian and other restaurants in walking distance (under 1 kilometer) if you want to eat out an not in the hotel restaurant. Bar stays open late, free parking, great to catch an early flight as only 5-10 mins drive to airport.

Limited storage for luggage if a family stays, but fine for a short stay

No shuttle to the airport, had to pay a taxi. No breakfast until 5;30 in the morning and I left at 5;00.

We arrived @ 8 pm, they have a restaurant as well which was full, we spoke to receptionist and they kindly offered us a table despite the fact that it was about to close!!!

Great location close to airport, comfy rooms, great breakfast buffet, would highly recommend

Our room was upgraded to a suite. We thanked the receptionist and mentioned to her how wonderful that was as it was our 30th wedding anniversary. We had also mentioned we would be getting a bite to eat in the restaurant, she told the staff in the restaurant and they prepared a dessert for us with fireworks in it, a very classy act. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
