My stay was satisfying

Location was very good, Aspley train station is exactly opposite the hotel for those needing to use trains. Rooms were clean and tidy. Staff was very friendly.

Breakfast was typically English, same menu everyday. Could have some variety atleast.

Staff cordiale e sempre disponibile, le stanze vengono pulite tutti i giorni e lo shampoo ed il bagno doccia sono di buona qualità. Colazione inglese discreta ma con poca scelta.

Le stanze per 2 persone più un bambino sono strette, poco spazio per muoversi. Il letto non l'abbiamo trovato comodo, un loro stretto competitor è molto più comodo.

Short stop in Hemel

Sehr gute Lage und ein schönes Zimmer in der 5ten Etage mit Blick auf den Fluss und den Paper Mill Pub.

Das Zimmer in der 1ten Etage, musste ich wechseln wegen der schlechten Aussicht und dem geringen Lichteinfall.

Lovely staff

Breakfast was good.. Nice and hot. Beautiful location. Staff where so nice and faultless.

Unfortunately someone set off the fire alarm at like 1am and we had to evacuate. I hardly slept all night.. In the morning they extended my stay until 2pm. It wasn't their fault and I was so grateful for the extra time in the room

La verdad que el hotel esta muy bien calidad-precio, camas cómodas y limpias. La estacion de tren justo delante. Llegamos al hotel de noche que nos trajimos embutido de España y nos proporcionaron pan gratis y una buena cantidad. A pesar de un susto que hubo a media noche, en el que saltaron las alarmas del hotel, que nos despertó del quinto sueño y nos asustamos, salimos al pasillo y vimos gente que salia a mirar, me asome a la ventana y vi como iban evacuando el hotel (nosotros estabamos en la ultima planta) nos pusimos los zapatos y el abrigo y salimos corriendo, en todo momento estuvieron los trabajadores calmando en lo que no sabian muy bien que pasaba y porque habian saltado las alarmas, ya despues del susto, creo que entendí que fue una falsa alarma porque alguien fumó en la habitación y detecto el humo... Nosotros ibamos tapados y no hacia muchísimo frio para ser esa hora de la noche, pero hubo gente que salio con poca ropa y descalzos, y tenian mantas de esas termicas que parecen papel albal, que supongo les proporciono el hotel, hasta que vinieron los bomberos. Estas cosas pasan, pero quiero decir que des de mi punto de vista el hotel actuó muy bien. El desyuno calidad precio bien.

En España tanto en zonas turisticas, como no, en los hoteles se esfuerzan por tener empleados que hablen varios idiomas, creo que el español se habla en buena parte del mundo, y nunca encuentro empleados que hablen español en hoteles, aereopuertos...

Amazing staff, great room and Perfect location for Warner Studios

The staff were so so friendly! I arrived pretty late and was preparing for my trip to the Warner studios the next day. The staff on the front desk gave me great tips for beating the morning traffic and thank God they did! The room was great, as I’ve come to expect from Holiday Inn and so was the breakfast. The restaurant over the road was also fantastic if arriving a little later and in need of a pub grub feed!

Avery warm and welcoming staff who saw to all off our needs all in all. Highly recommended Hotel.

Comfortable room. Breakfast was very good and the room Tea/Coffee making facilities were excellent. The Hotel had a clean and welcoming feeling. The car parking was very good with clear signposting to the reception.

Family trip to Harry Potter studio tour.

We're vegetarian and one of us is coeliac (gluten free). We were able to get a good, basic breakfast each morning. There was also soy milk. It was very handy (by car) to Warner Bros studio. From the attire of about half the people at breakfast, I'd say they thought so, too. We took the train into Euston from Apsley Station just over the road. We had no problems getting seats on the way back at rush hour, either. Apsley marina just near the hotel is lovely too, with a pub, cafe and pizza restaurant.

The sofa bed was a bit of a squeeze for 2 teenagers, so maybe it's time to move to two rooms!

Really happy will be back again

I really liked the fact breakfast was included

The only issue was only having one lift as it had a few floors obviously made it difficult for cleaning staff and customers to all use at busy times.

Lovely stay and would definitely book this hotel again.

The hotel was clean and tidy and the staff we spoke too were very attentive and informative. It was easy to get too with ample parking. Room was spacious and cleaned to a very high standard. Would highly recommend.

Clean. Nice bedroom and en-suite.

I was in the ground floor and it was a little noisy during the night with the sound of trolley/cases being wheeled on the pavement which wasn’t a smooth surface

Would highly recommend to anyone coming of going to Heathrow.

Helpful staff and amazing breakfast. Being included in the price, we expected maybe toast and cereal but there was bacon, sausages, eggs, croissants, muffins, fruit compote and yoghurt as well as cereal and toast. Great on site parking and an elevator to get our suitcases to the 5th floor.

It was a very warm night and we couldn't get the airconditioner to go to a lower temperature, so it was an uncomfortably warm sleep.

Good base for visiting Warner Bros Studios

Booked a family room for 2 adults and 2 teenagers… our room had a double bed and sofa bed. This is not the usual definition of a “family” room. Overall the hotel was clean, staff were friendly and breakfast was good.

On the whole the stay was very comfortable. .

We were a little disappointed as the kitchen was supposed to stay open until 9.30 but when we got there at 8.45 we were told it was closed. There is a pub on the boarder of the carpark (walking distance) who were only just able to provide us with some food, so that was a bit frustrating

Tiny room for a family room, bed very uncomfortable, apart from being tired with lack of sleep . The stay was fine.

Staff were friendly and attended to us when we needed them, cleaning staff very polite too

We stayed in a family room but there was no bedding for the pull out bed so a late night call was made to reception who did bring us some but 35 minutes later. I understand they are busy but maybe bedding could just be placed in room ready. Not a complaint as such just saves staff having to do this late at night
