Location and staff
Whoever designed the bathroom should have tried using it. Absolutely no where to put toiletries and the shower didn’t even have a soap dish. Soap had to be put on the shower floor which didn’t have any safety grip and there wasn’t even a safety mat - an accident waiting to happen.

The location and river view with easy access for walks
Cleanliness, the room was needed a good clean as dust on top of switches and fittings, no where to place toiletries in the bathroom, the bathroom smelt foisty and bad. The breakfast left a lot to be desired, I stuck to the toast and coffee only, yogurt etc are served off a table, not kept chilled as you would expect.

The location was amazing. Sitting out side by the river was lovely.
The breakfast-bacon & sausages were ok, hash browns were barely warm & soggy. The mushrooms were really good though. Also, the bed was quite soft & there was a pinkish stain on the toilet seat (maybe replace it)

Room was very nice and comfortable with addition of very good shower in bathroom. Great view of the Thames and local rowing club. Dinner was covert nice and enjoyable. Unfortunately we headed to airport quite early next morning so missed breakfast. Very convenient for Heathrow airport - just 20 minute drive away.
Carpet had a big ripple across end of bed which we tripped over a couple of times. Service in restaurant was a little slow. We were off to airport just after 6.09 am and no access to main hotel to return kept card so had to leave it in the room, we advised reception in arrival we would be leaving early and would not have time for breakfast but they did not advise about returning the key card or offer a take away breakfast bag.

Food was horrendous. Hot breakfast buffet was in the main cold. Bacon had clearly been cooked the night before. Sausages were not cooked. Beans were cold.

Brilliant deal for half board, food was delicious!
Staff were super helpful dealing with any issues and helping us with high chairs etc at meal times.
The location was perfect for visiting Windsor & Legoland.
Bed was very comfortable.
We would definitely consider staying again if we were in the area .
Our first room had a broken window handle meaning the window wouldn’t shut, staff were great in moving us to an alternative room as we had our 1 year old with us so couldn’t have a cold breeze running through the room.
Second room had a bath rather than just a shower which worked better for us but the water was just about hot enough for our son (not hot enough for a nice long soak for adults)
The windows in this room didn’t open at all which we assumed was because of them being sash windows opening onto a main road.

Great location, we were visiting family who lived nearby. Breakfast was also good.
We had to ask 3 times for clean towels. We also rang reception 3 times one evening looking for the towels after asking for them that morning, there was no answer at reception. The bulb in the light on one side of the bed was also blown. Surely these things are checked before the room is assigned to guests

Bathroom had no shelves to put your toiletry bag on, had to put it on the floor. very sparse range of toiletries in the bathroom. Very sparse in the tea making tray....only two tea bags and two sachets of milk along with a couple of sachets of coffee. Wall paper peeling off the walls behind the head board.

Buffet breakfast would have been nice to have sausages. Always the same toaster was slow had to put toast through 4 times.
Unfortunately there was a maintenance problem so had to walk outside and around the back to get into the breakfast room not very well signposted

I loved the location. We couldn’t get the heating to work but a word to reception sorted that promptly. We did have some disrespectful neighbours at 3 and 4 in the morning but obviously no fault of the hotel. Would have liked warm plates for the cooked breakfast.

Location was excellent.
Someone (Guest) entered our room at 3.30am, so very concerned about room safety if giving wrong access or room cards operate other rooms, no response from management.
Breakfast was not good, coffee machine kept breaking down, no sausage or bacon and eggs looked extremely bad..

Great location for Heathrow Airport, 30 minutes away. Clean & comfortable with a balcony overlooking the river Great price!.
On bookings.com it stated the breakfast was from 6.30 only to find when we arrived it was actually from 7.30 so we did not have time to have breakfast before our transfer to the airport. I was disappointed as we ended up paying an extortionate price for an airport breakfast.

Food in restaurant was good & the staff was nice.
Hotel was fine.
At arrival in my room there were multiple black hairs in my shower, thankfully I immediately got assigned to another room.
Furthermore, the WiFi connection in the guest rooms was quite bad. Mobile network also doesn’t work correctly while being in the room.

The windows were obscure glass, the lighting was poor and there was noisy air conditioning or other machinery units outside the window which were noisy all night. I would not have booked the room if I had known that I could not see out. Although the en-suite was refurbished the basin still leaked onto the floor. There are good rooms at this hotel but some rooms are very poor and should not be offered on the booking.com web site without a warning.

After a disappointment on arrival, for the remainder of the stay the hotel staff were really helpful, and went out of their way to ensure me and my kids had a happy stay. Wonderful rooms at amazing value, particularly given the location close to Heathrow etc, and the room overlooking the river, breakfast on the river terrace etc.
On arrival, one of our two rooms had a problem - no lights!. We arrived very late at night, so understandably it wasn't dealt with until the next day. However, shouldn't they have checked the room before we arrived?

I stay in the Slough / Maidenhead area a lot when I come to visit family and I Can honestly say this is the best place I've stayed in so far!
I got in touch after booking to request a ground floor room if possible, as my partner has COPD and can struggle with too many stairs.
I received an email back to say they would try their best for us.... I wasn't holding my breath but was so pleased when we arrived. Not only was our room ready early (we were 30 minutes before check in) but we were also on the ground floor in the building behind the main hotel. The whole building smelt fresh and clean as soon as you walked in and the room was beautiful with a small "balcony" area that overlooked the river. The bathroom was modern and a good size. And the staff were friendly and helpful on both check in and check out.
There was free parking right outside, also a bonus for my partner to avoid having to walk a long distance.
And to top it off, it was so cheap too!
We will definitely be back :)
It's very difficult to find any faults with this place! The only minor thing was the gents toilet just off reception is very, very small... And the doors open inward. I'm not a particularly large guy and I literally had to squeeze in their sideways 😂
