Wonderful experience

Traveled with family and a group of friends. Had a very nice experience at the hotel. The rooms were very big with large balconies facing lagoons and Red Sea. Amazing! The open buffet was exceptional! The variety of cuisines and dessert was impressive. It’s not like any all inclusive or half board you’ve ever seen. The F&B manager was there every breakfast and dinner. Compliments !

The entertainment weather on the pool or on the stage is the worst i have ever seen !! And where is the music ??? Weather on the pool or elsewhere the hotel has no music anywhere which is sad !

Overall, a wonderful stay in El Gouna with a friend, would love to return some day.

The property was lovely, from the delicious breakfast buffet, view of the ocean from the balcony, accommodating staff, being able to walk to the downtown area, and everything in between.

One of the staff by the pool, whose job was to 'hype' everyone up, once told me to 'smile more', and tickled my foot once which I really didn't appreciate.

Very good choice with kids in El Gouna

The set up of the resort is very nice. The buildings and furniture is a bit older. The staff is absolutely great

One restaurant was closed so less options. Good be more variety at breakfast buffet .

Location cannot be beaten. The staff were amazing

The room was not clean. Most of the electric sockets in the room was not working.

It was adequate but disappointing

The location was good and the staff were very friendly. The transportation to marina and downtown was very convenient with the toktok

The rooms were old and not well maintained. The buffet food was awful and if I was given a choice I wouldn’t have chosen half board. Considering the cost of the room rate which was approx. $250 it was definitely NOT good value. I could have got a 5* hotel in London or Dubai for that. I was really disappointed because it was my first time to El Gouna and I expected more from a Movenpick resort. I will definitely come to El Gouna again but NOT to the Movenpick

Room door lock broke down 2 times while trying to open it for sure they helped us with new key but it should be fixed permanently.

My wife and I enjoyed a verry good vacation in Movenpick Elgouna. We always enjoy our time there.

Food varities and taste are very good for both breakfast and dinner . Staff are very professional and friendly.

My request of a breakfast box to take at noon was denied because it should be done a day before. I was in an early snorkeling trip on last day and asked for that box to take at checkout. It was very strange to deny the ability of the kitchen to do that trivial task.

Breathtaking property

I like everything in this property. People in the reception desk are very helpful especially Hesham who made his best to make our stay comfortable in a very genuine and professional way. Rooms are well decorated with a unique lighting system. The food was tasty and the main restaurant area is outstanding it makes you feel like you have traveled far away. Restaurants managers was very welcoming especially Mohammad and Yasser. Swimming in this property was unforgettable especially in the lagoon area. I highly recommend it and definitely coming back.

Thank you, we enjoyed every minute

Everything was great. We had a free upgrade to a sea view family room, complementary fruit, and snacks were provided as well. The hotel is huge and clean, loved the SPA and gym also lagoons were awesome, and the children enjoyed swimming there a lot. The italian restaurant was great atmosphere and food as well.
