I always enjoy Margaret River but the start made me feel bad. We took ourselves to the brewery where the staff are gorge

Location

I had ordered a double bed which had been confirmed. I felt one staff member thought I was not being truthful about the confirmation because on arrival the room they offered had two single beds and she clearly assumed I'd stuffed up. The hotel receptionist treated me as if it was my fault and a double was going to be a major problem. The other person on the front desk was more positive and pleasant. I waited and they fixed it. The situation did unsettle me and cast a negative vibe on our 50th anniversary stay.

Great location in Margaret River

Excellent location situated at the end of town. A short walk to all facilities including a good pub, steakhouse (excellent steaks!) and lovely Italian restaurant, as well as shops and grocery store. Centrally located to visit vineyards and beaches within the region. Room was overlooking reserve and very quiet with balcony. Shower was really good, although you had a big step in to the bath to access - caution needed for less mobile. Housekeeping was great and serviced the room daily even washing up our cups and plates which was appreciated. Pool was slightly heated and salt water. Really good size with seating and loungers. Generally quiet when we were there and great for a dip after a hot day out and about.

Bed was a bit bouncy... Could feel every movement my partner made but still pretty comfy once you got used to it and not a deal breaker. Although advertised as an apartment the studio option had no kitchen and was more like a hotel room with general crockery, however a microwave was in fridge cupboard and kettle and toaster were supplied in the wardrobe cupboard to plug in on the table. The larger apartment next door may have been different but ours was like a standard hotel room with added appliances. The only bathroom light was connected to a noisy fan so you either fumbled around in the dark for a night time wee or woke everyone up in the room. Could have benefited from a night light or separate mirror light as there were no windows in the bathroom.

Superb location, value for money

The location is superb! Just park your car and the main street is just right in front of you.

Our room was at a duo key unit. Both the outside and inside doors are super heavy (fire rated I think) and we can hear the neighbor kept slamming the door every time they went out. If you have a neighbor that constantly goes out and comes back, it might be a noise issue to you. Not sure if anything can be done to fix this.

Excellent location in heart of Margaret River township. Good proximity to restaurants, shops etc. Friendly reception staff.

Great location in a nice town.

These apartments are ideally located for anyone visiting Margarets River. They are clean and well maintained with friendly helpful staff.

The people in the adjoining apartment vacated their room very early one morning. The fire door slammed loudly every time they came in and out which was every minute or so for well over half an hour. A sign asking for a bit of consideration for the other residents would have been helpful.

very good property in the heart of Margaret River.

Great location, able to walk to cafes, shops, restaurants. Excellent walking trails nearby. Lush gardens, and native bush land with bird life. Rooms have a balcony.

Furnishings and curtains need updating. Bed was uncomfortable, needs replacing. Lots of cobwebs on eaves above balcony.

Lovely location and beautiful property, but uncomfy bed :(

The location is 11/10, just on the edge of the Main Street which was fantastic. Lovely pretty property with beautiful gardens and a lovely pool. Lovely view of the beautiful bush from our room. Nice hot high pressure shower

Very noisy and poorly sound proofed rooms with loud slamming of the neighbours doors (next door and above). Could clearly hear a neighbour snoring and full conversations! Lumpy bumpy uncomfy bed with thin pillows. Not to our liking. Lots of mozzies and spiders in our room

the noise of the next rooms front door at 6am no space to sit except on the bed the TV was ancient, no HD, no streaming, toooo small. the shower was in a bath. the room was a small motel room up two flights of stairs. wifi barely adequate what is with WA accommodation with rubbish wifi.
