Exceptional

Very nice place to spend some days, good Communication at the reception, clean rooms and very comfortable, breakfast included, a lot of varieties. Clean pool and gym. I have enjoyed the time spend there.

Excellent breakfast! Good location near Calvi but in the countryside - we saw eagles and wild pigs!

This hotel very clean and it has a wonderful pool area with very good breakfast.The location is also very convenient because it is located near Calvi town.

The room I was given first,for the price of almost 100 euros was tiny, claustrophobic and had a strong and unpleasant smell of mold in the bathroom,as the bathroom had to window. I have asthma and this triggered my asthma immediately as soon as I got into the room.I went to the reception to complain about the room and see what solution could be found and the lady in the reception had a horrible attitude.She said that asthma isn't a reason for a change in room and she was very hostile,rude and provocative.She even left me waiting for ten minutes because she decided to service two other clients who arrived and then eventually I was able to tell her that I am not asking for anything for free but for a room upgrade that I would be willing to pay. Then she eventually decided to service me after she got me upset with her arrogance and her lack of understanding for my asthma and health condition.My rating on this hotel would be 10 if I didn't have to go through this unacceptable behaviour. Please,learn to be more understanding with your guests problems. We are not only money,we are humans above all.

Cozy hotel, excellent to explore area, great pool area and super friendly

Very cozy hotel with super friendly staff. Great pool area with two pools, many sun loungers and umbrellas and pool bar (quiet). Good breakfast next to pool (inside or outside), good room size, nice bathrooms, big wardrobes and very clean. Perfect hotel if you want to explore the area, several great beaches a short drive away as is Calvi. View from our (big) terrace beautiful all the way to the sea. Well stocked supermarket nearby. We truly enjoyed it.

FYI no lift if you come with heavy bags ask for ground floor ;) We found that breakfast had limited choice for the extra price pp The cleaner didn't refill soap in our bathroom

The hotel was really nice and the staff was very kind. I would go back there with pleasure.

I loved the bathroom and especially the shower. I enjoyed a lot the pool and the poolside breakfast.

There was no fridge in the room.

Overall a nice hotel but limited facilities, room space and services.

Nice little hotel with a very nice pool. Very quiet surroundings and a nice pool and some nice restaurants within a 5-10 drive.

There is nothing around the hotel or within walking distance, so there is always a need to go by car, which gets difficult because of the lack of any catering possibilities at the hotel other than drinks at the small pool bar from 15h30 to 22h and breakfast. There is the added difficulty that there is no fridge in the room so if you want to keep fresh water then keeping replenished an ice cooler would be your only option. Our room was rather small and had no seating space (not even a little table or a chair, which would probably not have fitted anyway). The service was mostly professional and helpful but quite cold and often dismissive.

Superb

Very nice and quiet hotel located between the Calvi airport and Calenzana in a residential area. We arrived early and spent our time at the pool for a couple of hours until our room was ready. There are actually two pools and the pool area is nice and relaxing. Our room was also very clean and spacious. There's the SPAR Acapulco complex with a supermarkt and a small bistro within walking distance (10-15 mins walk).

Just be aware that there are no dinner/restaurant options within walking distance (Acapulco closes at 20 o'clock). You either need your own car or need to book a taxi, which can be a hassle and also quite expensive.

Good value for money accomodation

Nice and clean room. Good and various breakfast served outside, with view over the pool area. Position, not far from Calvi center and port with the car. Parking lots in front of the building.

Good

The poolside was nice. The room had A/C and a big window, bathroom okay, clean room in general. 15min drive to Calvi. Big parking space at the Hotel.

Not a single person working at the hotel was ever wearing a mask (inside!). Incredible during this times. The bed has been used a lot, it should be replaced. Dueing daytime you can hear the aircrafts start& land from the nearby airport.

Passable

It was not as expensive as places in town. It was clean with a nice big pool and plenty of sun beds. There was ample parking and only a short drive to the beach. You need a car for all nearby out of town restaurants but we found a couple of nice ones (preferred in town however).

The family room for three was small. We were there 6 nights which was too long. It was difficult to dry towels from pool or shower and swim gear at the end of the day with no room to hang. There was a small window so it was relatively dark. Basically fine as a place to sleep but didn’t want to be in it for more than necessary. The bathroom had no shower curtain so everything got wet when using. There was no on site cafe or restaurant after breakfast and no ‘in room’ mini fridge or tea making facilities even. I think taking a self catering option in this hotel would be the best option knowing that, as otherwise you feel compelled to leave the hotel for the day because of that problem. The pool side bar only opens late afternoon. We went each day to the beach. We planned to spend one morning at the pool one day but in spite of the fact there was no one else there, we were told (in quite a heavy handed way) ‘no inflatables in the pool’ re my daughters very small blow up body board (about half her height aged 10). We felt addressed like very naughty children and she had not yet even taken it in! We decided not to hang about.The owners are not rude but I would just say frosty -not friendly (commented on in many French reviews here). We arrived and it was pretty much ‘here’s the key, your room is up stairs’. No help with bags, no niceties, no ‘how was you journey’. This is a small hotel with no lift. Normally in such places the staff try to create a friendly welcoming atmosphere but here we felt we were creating an imposition and were being tolerated. Normally I am not much fussed about small talk but the cool manor of the 3 staff members gave me the sense of being in a hostile environment. The result was we spent as little time in the place as possible and perhaps that’s the intention.
