Lovely lodge in a beautiful setting. Nice, comfortable rooms, very atmospheric common spaces with big fireplace. Amazing, friendly staff. Very good food in the onsite restaurant.

very memorable. I would definitely come back and stay.

We loved the whole experience. I have no complaints about anything and Andy and his staff were great to deal with. It is the only time I have stayed at paid accommodation where the bed and pillows were exceptional. Even as awesome as they are, the internet pictures do not do the lodge justice; you have to experience in person.

Amazing luxury lodge with great views and delicious food

We booked Fiordland Lodge on a friend's recommendation as a treat as part of our "wedding moon" - it didn't disappoint. After a day in Milford Sound we checked in to find out we had been upgraded to the Executive Suite, which was amazing! We appreciated having a space to relax in just the two of us, though the main lodge lounge was fantastic too where we enjoyed our canapes with bubbles before dinner. The included breakfast was great, and we paid to have the three course dinner too which was delicious! Hot tubs were also awesome. We're already planning to come back - maybe in winter this time to make the most of the huge fireplace!

Everything was great - nothing to complain about at all.

Fiordland Lodge - wonderful location, great food and outstanding staff.

Just a perfect place to relax and explore Fiordland. We stayed in the large log cabin - a short walk from the main lodge and hot tubs, with the advantage of absolute privacy. The food and drink was world class - from the cocktails and canapés before dinner, to the main course and desert. A different imaginative menu daily - we ate in every evening! But it was the staff that made the whole experience particularly special - kind, thoughtful and nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend this lovely lodge.

Very special experience of the highest standard of a unique accommodation.

Sensational view over Lake Te Anau and to the mountain range. Impressive lodge build. Room we stayed very spacious and loved the rustic decor. Exceptional dining & food. Great hot tub!

We do like this stunning architecturally log and stone designed lodge.

Spacious room with amazing Te Anau Lake viewing. The high stud lounge with stone fire place is unique. The dinner is gorgeous, the service is quality, the appeal is relaxing. We like it .

Everything was as per there web site. Beautiful quite idyllic location. Staff were exceptional. Cuisine delicious. Couldn't have picked a better spot for our 40th wedding anniversary.

Spectacular Lodge

This is an amazing lodge - like something from the movies. It sits beautifully on a hill overlooking the lake and mountains. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. The main part of the lodge has a big open fire that you can sit next to and have a wine and the food in the restaurant was delicious. I wish we could have stayed longer. The staff were amazing. Very kind and helpful. We absolutely loved it!

The warm welcome from Andy. Beautiful view from rooms and lounge. The hot tub at sunset. The food at dinner and breakfast. The snack bar.

It was our honeymoon and a special something in our room would have been nice.

Lovely lodge in nature

The views, the location.

The loft master bedroom in the log cabin gets very stuffy and hot despite opened windows, probably due to the fire place in the sitting area.
