... die Lage, wg. der Verkehrsanbindung und ein super Lokal direkt daneben, ... mehr leider nicht!

ständiger Baulärm, offene und nicht zu schließende Balkontür in der Dachsuite, daher unsicher, sehr laut von außen (vierspurige Strasse) und kalt (Winterzeit), absolut unmotiviertes und unfreundliches Personal, der Kunde quasi als Last, ein Bistro wird als Restaurant vorgegauckelt, 'inkl. Frühstück' wird dennoch mit Aufpreis berechnet, Taubenkot im Treppenhaus vor der Innentür, auf Reklamationen wird sehr zögerlich reagiert, auf nochmaliges Nachfragen wird seitens des Hotelmanagements eiskalt gelogen, ein absolut nicht empfehlenswertes Haus!

A great modern room with all the comfort. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The food at the restaurant is top notch.

The room is not very sound proof from the outside noises and can hear every sound which can wake you up early in the morning when the staff clean and have conversations. Not ideal if you have a late night and need extra sleep..

Location. Indoor heated pool

Parking is limited to 5 vehicles. I booked a parking when I made the reservation but on arrival, no parking was available and I was told to park on Beach Road as staff members reserved the parking in front for themselves. It’s very clear they regard themselves more important than the guests. ☹️ The receptionist was not very friendly and when we requested a room with a better view on a higher floor, she mentioned she’ll check availability but never called back. The backrest of the couch is hard and I could feel the frame inside. I suspect the cushions or backrest is missing.

No parking which I wasn’t aware off prior. I had to park my hired vehicle across the beach was I did not like and was very uncomfortable. Parking notice must be made more clear prior to booking

Great staff everywhere. Great location. Great facilities.

The restaurant should consider opening in the evening and employing more staff. Food takes unreasonably long. A generator is a needed investment with the increase in loadshedding and the aging infrastructure in Sea Point.

Location Location Location!!

The views of the Sea and the Promenade are everything! The reception staff are friendly and went out of their way to assist me whenever I needed help. Amy is top tier!

Please upgrade to smart TVs.... otherwise, it's always a perfect stay at Riviera.

The location is great, the hotel looks beautiful outside and also has beautiful furniture

The room was not clean, even the bed was not made and we found someone lurking in the corner of the room when we were entering, they gave us a room with no window and when we complained they said to us we should have specified that we wanted a certain room, there was only a sliding door leading into a tiny indoor pool for all hotel guests and we couldn't even open the door since there were people sitting right by our door all the time, the room reeked of chlorine and it was very stuffy so we had no fresh air at all, no natural light , we had to keep the curtains closed all the time and lights on ,it felt very dingy and when the power goes off it's worse since the air-conditioner goes off too, the receptionist had a bad attitude towards us even when we were leaving, the hotel put a misleading picture on their room looks and they basically blamed us for not specifying that we want a room with a window but they don't mention that they don't have windows on certain rooms on their room details.

Excellent value for comfort and money

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The hotel was situated across the road from the sea and close to good restaurants and shops as well as easy to access other areas in Cape Town.

All in all the accommodation is very good. It is located at the sea point. It's safe, there are more tourists and its a "good and safe" area. The hotel ist nice, the stuff friendly.

We booked a room for two people. The room was good, but we haven't had a window to the outside. The only window we had was heading to the indoor pool. So it was hard to get fresh air into the room.

Superb

Exceptional service from the staff, reception ladies were immensely helpful especially with the Uber transportation, Thulani was a trooper, and Sbu by the restaurant..the room was clean and neat, the view was amazing..

Unfortunately the manager Eddie thinks we still in the previous Era with his racial issues..he doesn't serve black people by the restaurant, we sat there for a good 20mins I even approached him for a service n I didn't get any from him, but he gladly served white folks who came in after us..

Disappointing

Other than the listed issues one could say the layout of the room was comfortable.

Room has no windows other than a small bathroom window and a sliding door opening onto an indoor swimming pool for the use of all residents. On entering the room for the first time, the room had this swimming pool like stuffy smell. No fresh air. Digital keypad on the safe didn't seem to work. Had to request a safe key for duration of stay. Had to also request a special adaptor plug to enable the use of the room hairdryer. On lifting the toilet seat, it still had an uncleaned brown deposit on it. Also still had a long black hair on the bath.

WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME AND WILL COME AGAIN

LOCATION WAS PERFECT FOR US AS WE PARTICIPATED IN THE CAPE TOWN 10 SPORTS TOURNAMENT. SPECIAL PRICES ADVERTISED FOR HOTEL ROOMS DURING NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER WAS AFFORDABLE FOR ALL TEAM MEMBERS SO THIS MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR US TO COME. THE HUSSLE AND BUSSLE OF SEA POINT WAS WHAT WE WANTED AS WE COME FROM A SMALL TOWN. MAYBE IF WE WERE ON HOLIDAY THE NOISE WOULD NOT BE SO NICE BUT FOR US IT WAS GREAT.

NO ALLOCATED PARKING WAS A BIT STRANGE, LUCKILY WE GOT A PARKING SPOT IN THE PARKING AREA. BAYBE THIS MUST BE COMMUNICATED BEFORE

the entire room was neat, including the bedding

the fact that the room was by the pool and I requested to be put in a different room but was refused. people made noise till late at night. there was a cockroach in the room and we told the staff but they did nothing. we paid for breakfast for our stay and when we went to go get breakfast, we were told it’s not halaal and therefore couldn’t eat anything and had to buy something else, despite paying for breakfast
