Highly recommended for confortable & breathtaking views.

Amazing place away from the city/town. The view from the cabin was amazing you can see all the mountains. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms have hot running water. The service was great, very friendly people and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend it if you are traveling as a family or just yourself. It’s only 15min from the Llanganuco Lake via car, one thing to point out is the elevation of this property is close to 11,000 feet. Highly recommended for confortable & breathtaking views.

The only and minor thing was that you have absolutely no signal to call or data. The only way is to use the wifi or landline in the main reception/food area of the place.

the owner was incredible helpful in facilitating our climb in Huascaran National park. he made sure we were well fed and had rides to and from our adventures.

Friendly, helpful, cosy guesthouse in a fantastic location. We loved our stay.

The location was amazing, right at the foothills of the mountains in the village. The room was cute and cosy, we appreciated the heating and solar hot water. Jesus was really helpful organising the taxi and giving us tips, and the kitchen staff were wonderful. Our driver Abran was a sweetheart too!

We stayed for three nights and the room wasn’t cleaned during our stay, which would have been nice. Otherwise we loved our stay.

Exceptional

Jesus was so friendly and always with a smile on his face! There was a storm the first night and we were without electricity but they still cooked us a delicious meal & were able to restore power the next day. There is Wi-Fi & hot water yet you feel almost off-grid as if there shouldn't be! The food is incredible. The location has a astounding view. Was such a pleasant experience here with Jesus and his family. Can't wait to return

Amazing stay in a little paradise

The location and view are unbeatable (just consider that you'll need a taxi from Yungay to come up here, and it's 45 min of unpaved road) and Jesus restaurant was amazing every day (products from the local farming community might be helping). Outside spaces are also welcoming and offering the same amazing views, especially at sunrise/sunset. To our surprise, wifi worked ok (now, don't expect to use netflix, but some "google-planning" is possible). Jesus also helped us a lot in planning our trips and hikes, and also in "sending" us to our next destination. There is a reasonably well stuffed store (now, don't imagine a supermarket) 10-15 min away on foot, too, for basic needs.

Even though the room was comfortable and well decorated, the bathroom could use some basic improvement to avoid pipes from spilling water (or adding a wc seat...). Also, it was quite hard to get non-cold and non-burning water from the shower. That's a pity because with a couple of easy fixes the room would really have been perfect.

Beautiful countryside home with awesome view

Jesus and his family are extremely welcoming and nice + the food they prepare is very good. They invited us to gather tasty strawberrys with them from their own culture. We felt at home for a few days and it was great. Also, the views and souroundings are amazing.

The bathroom could use some work as you can hear the neighbors very clearly.

Superb

The location is unbeatable. It is 7 minutes away from the north entrance to the Huascaran National Park (Llanganuco lakes and Laguna 69 area). It is a quaint, quiet space with gorgeous views. The owner and his family are wonderful and working hard to give you the best experience. This is a remote location, locally own in a small community, adjust your expectations accordingly.

We really appreciated whole approach of the family - we felt welcomed and had the opportunity to taste the traditional cuisine and to have a glimpse of how the locals live. Last but not least we enjoyed the magnificent wiews - the mouintains are simple incredible.
