Excellent choice for a romantic stay in Ravello

Excellent location in beautiful Ravello. Great host and breakfast in the garden, overlooking the beautiful coastline. Comfy bed.

stuck in the middle of nowhere where with nothing to eat and a terrible host

honestly I was very excited for this stay- and it turned out to be the most disappointing stay of the whole trip. the only good part about this place was the "free parking", and the breakfast was nice.

where to beggin. for starters, when I booked this place i booked in on reviews alone, and most saying its a great location. well lets not lie folks, its a terrible location, far from away from the center, and to get the center its 1000 steps uphill. We had bad weather so because of the location we were pretty much stuck in our room, because walking uphill in the rain wasnt an option. One night we even went to sleep hungry because it was raining and didnt want to drive and there was nothing offered at the BnB, even though the pamphlet said otherwise. VERY DISSAPOINTING. and another thing that was just plain outrageously - We came back from Amalfi soaking wet got caught in a rain storm we asked if there was a dryer at the place, and was told that there is no one at the BnB and there is nothing they can do, and on top of not having warm clothes and them being soaking wet, We complained that we had no hot water one day, and instead of trying to fix our problem I was asked if I had turned the nob the right way, made me feel so dumb, and the next morning at breakfast the same person we complained to was SO RUDE to us, didnt even say good morning, acted as if we were the problem, we left there feeling so bad, and just wanted to run away as fast as possible. she had terrible hospitality, and did not assist us with anything!!! So if we want breathtaking views but to be stuck in the middle of no where with nothing to eat or drink, and have a rude host then go ahead, this is the place for you.

Very lovely stay (but not close to the plaza)

The room was really lovely, and the host was very kind and helped us find a taxi very early in the morning to get to the airport. The view was wonderful.

The only downside of this lovely B&B is that it is closely located to the road on one side, and on the other side you have to walk up about 15 minutes of stairs and another 10 minutes to get to the plaza. If you are planning on traveling by shuttle or taxi, no problem - but if you are planning on walking to / from the plaza (e.g., if you are attending a wedding), it is quite exhausting.

Everything about Al Borgo Torello is magnificent! It is in a wonderful location with close walk to town. It is charming, exceptionally clean and well maintained. Daniela does a wonderful job managing it and provides great care in assisting her guests. Breakfast is delicious and we were able to eat outside in the beautiful courtyard, which we also enjoyed at the end of the day with cocktails from her outdoor bar! Highly recommend!

Fabulous location, very peaceful, couldn't hear a thing at night. Amazing view over the coast. Breakfast was lovely and served under an olive tree in the garden looking out at the view. The outside bar is also very nice, and serves a selection of drinks. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. A short walk into Ravello but it is hard work going up the steps!

The stay was very pleasant and left only good memories! The property itself is very nice, it has a very amazing garden with a sea view where we stayed every evening. The room had all the necessary facilities, the personnel was very helpful and suggested what to visit and how to reach every destination. The destination is also good and easy to reach but as everybody says, be aware that there’re lots of steps:D nevertheless it’s not a problem if you sum up all the advantages. Definitely recommend this property!

The property has an amazing view, the breakfast is the best we had in the Amalfi Coast and the hosts are super nice. Small comment for people that might not read the details: the property is not in Ravello so you have to walk a few flight of stairs to get there

We had the best stay on our Italy trip with Daniela and her family! They were super nice and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and the view from the garden and the room is just gorgeous. We liked it so much that wanted to stay additional nights. The steps indeed are way too steep however the shuttle stops right in front of the B&B so the location was not an issue. We will be back for sure!

Everything. Location amazing with unbelievable view, rooms clean and tidy, amazing service, bonus of a jacuzzi nice to chill at the end of the day.

It is a 10 min walk from ravello bus stop and quite a few stairs. This is the only downside but you can catch the local bus that drops you outside apartment.

A quiet, friendly place that the owners seem so proud of snd who go out of their way to make your stay wonderful.

This was an incredible accommodation property. Although it was out of the way in Ravello, it was easy to get to with transport. You would not want to walk. We were made so welcome by the property owners, father and daughter. The view from our bedroom was spectacular, high up over the coast and down to Minori and Maeori. It was so quiet. we slept with the door to the balcony open and watched the full moon rise over the mountains behind Solerno. The room, although small, was spotless as was the bathroom. the Bedroom opened onto a terrace with seating from which you can look out to the spectacular view. Breakfast was served in a quiet outside courtyard overlooking the sea. Great breakfast. Loved this place and would have stayed longer if we could.

Nothing really wrong. If you were walking it is quite a trudge up to the centre of Ravello but not too hard to do.

The room is large, cozy and nicely decorated, really clean and quiet. Beds are definitely confortable, and the private batroom with shower really convenint. The breakfast is so rich with coffe, milk, drinks, croissants, homemade cakes, fresh fruit salad (just made!), bread, jam, cheese, yogurt and cereals. I had no problem at all in getting vegan options as asked at the moment of reservation, actually Daniela baked a vegan carrot cake (deliciuos!) expressly. Daniela and his dad runs this place with lots of love and they made our stay outstanding! Absolutely recommended!

The views from the room and terrace were beautiful, you’re able to get a nice sea view. Daniella, the hostess, was very helpful explaining how to get around the area and where to eat. The breakfast was also excellent and had a good variety (from homemade cakes to fruit). The hotel has an outdoor jacuzzi on the terrace with great views and they serve aperitivo, great way to end the day.

Not really an issue for us, but you have to climb quite a few stairs to reach the main area of Ravelo. Although this is likely the case in most places in the area.

The place is quite and beautiful and Daniela is sweet and always available. The breakfast is really good.

The location did not work for us. The guesthouse is 15-20 min walk from Ravello centre but only if you climb lots of stairs. As we are travelling with little children including one baby in a stroller, this was not an option for us. On the first day myself and my husband went in turns to see the village via the stairs. On the second day we tried to take our car close to Ravello and park it close enough in a private parking (as it is forbidden to park anywhere else) but all the parkings were full as there were too many tourists...So in the end we left the village without really seeing it. i believe this is something that should be mentioned by the guesthouse, especially for families with little children.

Daniela was an amazing host with plenty of great local knowledge to help us enjoy our time in Ravello. The accommodation is immaculate and her service amazing. Will definitely be coming back!
