Nice concept hotel at the heart of Davos

While we stayed in Davos in the winter time for several years, this was our first time summer stay in Hard Rock Hotel Davos. We like the concept, style and decorations. We took the large room of 70sqm ( Rock Suite King Gold ). It was very nicely decorated, enough space for 3 adults. The hotel (as the whole city of Davos) is dogs-friendly. Very nice ( rock) spa area Very friendly cleaning room staff

Although our room was nicely decorated, it missed some functionalities: no wardrobe corner at the entry, only one on the upper floor. Modern Nespresso coffee machine, but we had only 6 capsules for 3 pers for 3 days ( less than 1 pp/ day). When I asked to have 2 additional capsules => requested to pay extra, referring to the Hotel policy. (for the price of the room we paid, to refuse 2 Nespresso capsules?!) In such case i prefer to have a “standard coffee-thee facilities” in the room with more regular refill of coffee and thee. It would be nice if the reception staff smile more often!

Great spot to stay in Davos, not just to enjoy the city but to enjoy the hotel as well

This is the second time we stay here, we really like the hotel, it’s vibe and the spa facilities are great. The kids spent most of the time in the swimming pool which is really good and has a nice jacuzzi in the same area. Food is good as well

They can offer more spots for electric car charging.

The spa was great.

Unfortunately one of the staff members was very rude to us. He shouted and was condescending. Although we did speak to the front desk staff about the incident, we did not receive an apology. This will affect my choice of Hard rock hotels for the future.

Not as relaxing as in the past

Nice spa facilities for relaxing after an intense day on the slopes. Good, rich breakfast.

We stayed at this hotel several times in the past and had better, more relaxing experiences, even if now we were there during working week (not weekend when all is more intense). The room’s windows were facing the road, so cars and loud people could be heard (even from level 4). What bothered us most was that the booking slots for spa were not respected by people with children and this was not checked by the personnel. Children are allowed all day, until 6pm, so they have plenty of time to enjoy. Even when we went at the spa after 7pm, children were there, taking over the pool and ruining the relaxing and recovery moments we were looking forward to (we could hear the screaming of kids all the way from sauna and couldn’t really go for a swim). Not sure if we’ll come back again, maybe it is time to explore new places.

The spa is great / have to book set 2 hour time slots so would recommend pre-booking the 3-5pm or 5-7pm every night of your stay as this seems to be the most popular. House keeping was great, very clean room and efficient.

There is no comfortable seating all bar stools, no chill out or relaxing areas with the main reception and bar area. It feels like you just need to keep moving within the hotel almost like a conveyor belt. would also have liked to have know it was a dog hotel before booking. We witnessed a dog cock it’s leg up and pee up the side of furniture during breakfast that the owner was totally unaware of. Breakfast was very basic and the same everyday.

I liked style….decoration…everything was cool, clean, tidy. Stuff was very nice. A breakfast had a large selection of meals.

Nice location but falls short of what you may expect

Room was clean and well furnished, spa is great, breakfast is great, location too

Staff at the reception was 90% of the time not smiling and not welcoming at all. they sent me to the wrong parking and didn’t even apologize. It took me 40 min to park my car we missed our dinner reservation. The room we booked was superior silver and it was super small, in an adjacent part outside of the actual hotel facing the parking. The hotel, while it has nice facilities is like a labyrinth and the reception area is not designed in a cosy way and it doesn’t have a nice atmosphere. For rooms starting from 400 chf I expected more and will not be coming back.

Location is very good Room was nice, modern, comfortable and clean

Not enough facilities and infrastructure to meet the demand. Swimming pool is small, water was not warm enough and due to its size, was only assessable via annoying booking. Children are only allowed to stay in the pool until 18:00 -> makes life for family guests difficult Parking is chaotic, again, far too small for the amount of guests. All in all, the infrastructure does not meet the demand.

The room is not that equiped, no hot water boiler, no minibar, at breakfast there was no porridge, which is kinda small thing, but still upsetting. Parking situation not too flexible.
