A hotel with good amenities plus and axe throwing facility right next to your room ;-)

The place is ok, but there is this this axe throwing place in the same building and unless you like Aussies going oooouuuuhhh and ahhhhh after every wall shattering throw, this is not for the people going to bed before 11:00pm. But, hey you might be lucky as I am sure there are people who like noise.

It was hard to find sleep as axe throwing a high impact contact sport ;-) a noisy affair.

The Room was very nice clean and comfortable bathroom amm were great

Security was a bit Lax The safe wasnt very secure as it was only attached to the cupboard side and could easily have been pulled out of there. The entrance door did not lock securely as it was easily forced open. It needed a shoot bolt lock at bottom of the door that dosnt open as there was to much movement in the door.

Hidden treasure amongst a noisy neighbourhood

Lovely staff greeted us with a welcome drink. We booked a Deluxe Suite which was on the top floor with a balcony opening up over to a pool view. Our room was spacious with a huge bathroom with shower and bathtub. The downside is, it's open air and the heat pours in so had to keep the bathroom door shut to keep the room cooled. Very clean and older style Balinese decor. The standard rooms are very small - the bathroom is more a closet. It would have been suffocating for us to share such a small space. Refrigerator is available on request in smaller rooms. There are reading and seating areas under each accommodation block. The gardens are stunning especially at night - so Balinese. The pool is lovely, small with very limited seating so it got pretty busy and full. We included breakfasts for our stay - it was sufficient with choices of salad, fruit, pastries, toast an egg station and a choice of 4 hot foods which varied daily. Tea, coffee and juice were available but self service sachets. Location is great if you want access to bars, restaurants and night-life. Lots of market shopping, spas etc in the area. A 5minute walk to the beach via the lane way next to the Ossitel.

Noise - very loud music playing from various clubs and pubs around the area. One night it was so loud that 3 sets of ear plugs rammed in didn't help. Late arrival neiighbours banging doors and having loud conversations after 11pm not enjoyable. Our room was beside a lane way to the next door resort so we also had people walking past at all hours, conversing loudly or dragging cases along. Not enough pool lounges nor space - there was a family group of 20 people turned up and basically overtook the place. We are in our 60s and prefer quieter, chilled out spaces with privacy.

Royal Tunjung is a beautiful hotel and we will definitely be going back again.

We love Royal Tunjung Hotel. We have stayed there three times now and just love the one bedroom villa, the location is very central to everything, the breakfast is so delicious and great value for the cost. We love that it is a small boutique hotel and that the staff are so friendly and helpful in every way. The rooms are very clean and the gardens and pool area is beautiful

There is nothing that we did not like - we love it!!

Etablissement que je ne conseille pas au prix payé.

L'hôtel se situe réellement à 5 mn de la plage et près d'une rue animée (qui ne nous correspondait pas du tout). Joli jardin et piscine agréable.

Nous avions réservé une chambre triple. Elle se trouve à l'extérieur du complexe et donne sur la rue. Salle de douche délabrée. Le personnel a accepté de nous changer la chambre pour une double avec lit de camp en extra (qu'on a voulu nous facturer en extra au début). Les équipements sont vétustes et, de ce fait, le prix demandé sur booking élevé.

words cannot describe how helpful all the staff were, they made us feel very very welcome.

we found the staff excellent and helpful, breakfast and restaurant were great. swimming pool in excellent and clean condition. the room was spacious and comfortable, very good blackout curtains. We couldn't just single out any particular staff member as they were all very helpful and pleasant, and always smiling. Great staff from reception to cleaning staff, I really cannot give them enough praise, thank you

Now the room we were in needs an upgrade. Upon arrival, the room did not have a fridge, staff provided a fridge that didn't fit so it was placed in the bathroom where the power point did not work, it was broken. extension cord used, Needed to go to the bathroom to access the fridge. shower water pressure was hit and miss but passable. if you want an early and quite night's sleep, forget it, some nights the music was still going up until midnight and is very loud. sound proofing in our room was nonexistent.

Very good value for your money

Staff at check-in was really good. the gardens/grounds were a big attraction and were beautiful and well maintained. Pool was rather neat and clean. There were better rooms than what I got, same "style", but fine. Good "firm" bed and comfy pillows. Big bathroom/shower arera with good water pressure and hot. I did not use the restuarant as there are too many surrounding options but heard from others that it was good. It is all about value for ones money and this place was certainly worht money spent

Staff, location, food & pool were all good.

Bathroom stunk, not enough soap or toilet paper, kept having to ask for more. We were told room was a bit noisy, understatement of the year. It was dated & extremely noisy all the time!

Initially had the front old room near road. Not recommended , noise from road and bars. Desperately need renovation. Upgraded to back villa and was very happy with room .

Superb

Stayed at Royal Tunjung for 10 days . What a hidden gem in Legian . The rooms were traditional Balinese with lovely fittings , fresh flowers and comfy mattresses . The gardens are just stunning with a gardener spending all day every day tending them . The staff were amazing , catering to every request in a timely fashion and so polite , so refreshing . We will definitely be back , loved it 🌴

very big room, clean pool with good sun loungers. water in room everyday and fresh flowers & plants by the bed & in the bathroom.

there was a crack in the window and gaps above the panels, which let in a lot of noise from neighbouring bars & a few mosquitos but nothing too bad.

Very good

Cold bottled water provided each day and a quiet atmosphere. Didn't feel like you were in the middle of the hustle and bustle but everything was still super accessible.

Breakfast was average but passable. The pool was quite warm so not as refreshing as you might want when it's so hot out but still nice.

the balinese setting and gardens were lovely .The staff were friendly helpful kind and respectful. The restaurant was very good and breakfast was excellent. meals were also very good . The pool was great in a lovely setting.

Great location. Staff were really helpful. Pool area was relaxing. Bed was super large and really comfortable.. The room.was really comfortable with good A/C and a couch.

No hand towels in bathroom but easily resolved by asking for some. It was a little noisy and we could hear a band playing from our room which faced the street. I still managed to fall asleep though.
