The location is fantastic and the style of hotel is gorgeous

The rooms are very small and quite old. Our bathroom fan was noisy so it felt like an expensive stay for what we got

Perfect location , amazing staff , oysters and wine to watch the sunset.

Wonderful all around , check in was the best I’ve ever had , the food was perfect , drinks reasonably priced, location 10/10.

Exceptional

Beautiful views of Cottesloe Beach, easy walking access to bus to train, and train to Fremantle and Perth attractions. Helpful staff. Fabulous cafes nearby for all day dining. Wide variety of excellent dining in the Bar and Terrace Beach Club.

Carrying luggage up the stairs to the rooms, but reception was happy to assist. Bedside power outlets for charging would be helpful.

The View

Broken tiles in bathroom with actual holes in them. TV was not a smart TV, no access to Netflix or anything else. Looked high end in photos but was really just a pub room which had been tarted up.

Beautiful Cottesloe

Great location, queen balcony room with balcony was great, a great place to view the sunset or chill out looking at the ocean. Beach club downstairs is great for a bite to eat an drink. Great cocktail bar or you can sit at the front bar overlooking the Indian Ocean

We loved it so much we will be back

The location is superb - just across from the beach and surrounded by many places to eat. The hotel restaurant and bar are wonderful and we enjoyed many hours in each. Staff are all very friendly and go out of their way to help make your stay amazing. This definately is a great place to stay so go for it. We did.

Why stay anywhere else in Cottesloe?

The hotel’s location is absolute beach front and with having a room with a balcony overlooking the ocean, it was perfection. The Verandah Bar and Beach Club downstairs provided excellent food and drink. The beds were very comfortable, the showers were excellent and the room heating was very effective. The hotel is very close to the bus stop to the station (only a 1km walk) and Fremantle is 4 stops away for whale trips, city ferries and Rottnest Island visits. The Manager/Concierge, Michael, was brilliant - helpful, knowledgeable and with a great sense of humour.

The noise of the shower pipes from the next room was rather loud.

Overpriced and very disappointing- would love a refund for at least one night.

The list is long. Tiny tired room, in much need of some updating. Base noise from the music from the pub downstairs all day, until 10pm the first night and after midnight the second night. Booked midweek hoping it would be quieter. Thursday night there was a function on. Some of the guests were clearly staying at the hotel. At 2am we could still hear them talking and laughing out loud (contrary to the ‘rules’ of the hotel to be considerate of other guests at the hotel. On arrival we were told the snacks would be complimentary in the room. The packet of crisps had expired!! There wasn’t even a bottle of complimentary water in the room until the following day. The tea and coffee had also not been topped up. I had to ask the staff for some tea bags. The room was serviced the following day and our bath mat had not been replaced. had to ask for one …….. Cannot believe the price we paid for this.
