Don't offer a place to sleep then book a live music act to play until nearly midnight.

Staff were friendly

We booked a place to sleep, but they put live music on which went on until around 11.30pm and then there was more music beyond that. And our room was right above it. didn't manage to get any sleep.

Stayed for a wedding nearby. The room served our purpose.

Food was excellent and hot, plentiful. Manager very helpful

Noisy pump in bathroom,cramped bathroom and very small shower cubicle. Tired looking needs a revamp. Restaurant had sticky tables.

We were told that the hotel will close in May for 1.4 million pound referb, boy does it need it.

The toilet paper.

The shower was full of mold and dirt. The matress was very old and very thin, My wife and I ached in the morning.

Cheap single room so basic but interesting place, good shower, more than passable food for the price (cheap as chips) and really great staff

Perfect for what I needed!

Room, bathroom, bed, breakfast

Telly was too small, too high up and signal was sporadic. Radiator had no settings (to turn it down).

Cheap, but better save ££ some other how.

Cold shower (boiler broke down). Dirty carpets. Flaking paint. Short dinner serving period (30 mins).

Had a good stay and the breakfast was cooked lovely and staff are very helpful and very polite

Loved the property as very old and has lot of original details.

Not much I’d didn’t like. The rooms are little out dated and could do with a little painting to freshen it up and some walls were stained. The duvet cover and throw had holes in them. The room we had is good for few days stay only has lack of storage.

Great stay , Duckaries.

I loved the location, I was going to sherwood forest for two days, excellent location and easy to find.

I would have liked two pillows, but I suppose I could of asked for another, I had to open my windows as I couldn't turn the radiator down, and was a bit noisy later on.

Very relaxed and comfortable.

Very good selection for breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Not a luxury hotel but very good value for money.

Bathroom was very clean but lack of efficient ventilation meant build up of condensation and subsequent mould.

Pleasant stay at the Dukeries Lodge. More than adequate, good value for money and helpful staff.

Location was more than adequate, good value, comfortable and beer was good.

Dated but for the money and purpose of visit it really isn’t worth complaining about. Probably need’s refurbishing but wouldn’t prevent a return visit if I was in the area.

Had a lovely time

Lovely find, within walking distance of Sherwood Forest. Lovely place, very helpful and friendly staff. Room was very clean and tidy. Was very busy and staff seemed rushed off their feet.

Only thing I didn't like was smell of bleach in bathroom

Really enjoyed our stay.

Manager and his staff team were fantastic, food was excellent. Good size rooms and very clean. Lots of parking. Great value for money. 😁

Comfy night sleep for low cost

Very comfy bed, yummy breakfast, lovely friendly staff

Very small TV in room, lock was broken so took a while to lock when we left the room, no proper coffee at breakfast, just instant sachets

paid £48 and got what I paid for.

The price. The wifi and letting me stay on to use this the following day - offered a cup of coffee for my meeting. Clean bedding

Limited breakfast, Room was shabby, tv signal sketchy. wallpaper coming off wall, bathroom paint sketchy. Initial welcome terrible but staff accommodating when showing me to my room.
