Good Hostel, lovely staff in a great location.

Great location. Facilities were fantastic, just what we needed and the staff were very helpful.

There had been a mix up with them ordering towels - which meant we were unable to hire any. We'd just cycled 90km so needed to shower and had to use microfiber cloths to dry ourselves.

Brilliant hostel with fantastic staff

We had a great stay here. The building is really centrally located for exploring Berwick, our room was big and comfortable, and the communal areas were all lovely spaces with everything we needed. Particular shout out to the staff as everyone we interacted with during our stay was extremely helpful and friendly. Couldn’t recommend more.

Staff were especially helpful and friendly. It was easy to head out into the town and we a very central location. Having parking available was very helpful

Wow it was such fantastic value for money, 3 adult 2 children aged 8. It had all amenities needed, key cards which had locks on all the main doors I've corridors which made us feel very safe! Perfect location too very central

Would have made 10 stars for all if they had TV in the rooms and better mattresses

Value For The Money Good Experience

Night Staff was very helpful lovely girl at reception and a handsome boy. Very welcoming attitude. Location amazing. Room size was decent. This is a hostel so do not expect 5 star luxury hotel. Overall Good experience. Very reasonable price.

Another fabulous hostel

Excellent location, really quiet but close to lovely little micro brewery, cafes bars and restaurants. Really warm with lovely staff who were really helpful . Free parking really close .

Shame there is no dorms for single travellers

Berwick upon Tweed high street looks tired. It desperately needs some investment in some bars and restaurants where you can sit outside any enjoy the lovely river/sea views.

fabulous building, wonderful staff , no hesitation in recommending

first time YHA , was a apprehensive because we had an adult with learning needs in our party, absolutely no need, we all felt comfortable and safe, staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful, the building is fabulous and we had everything we needed and more, wouldn’t hesitated to recommend

This was my first time in any YHA. If they're all like this I'll have to stay in more of them. Everyone is so friendly, the cafe is nice, and the self-catering facilities are brilliant.

Great YHA with nice friendly staff in a good location

The staff were most helpful in getting everything organised as it was a cycling trip . The rooms were great and we liked the location next to the town . We ate in the cafe and the food was really nice . The staff were very friendly and helpful . Everything was very clean throughout and we all loved our stay .

It was a good reminder that Im getting too old for the top bunk as my knees hurt getting down - but that my fault for being too slow getting to the room before the others :)
