The motel is on Marine Parade. It’s a great base to explore Napier and the sunrise views are great. The staff were friendly and always said hello.

The property itself serves its purpose. I would have expected for the money paid that it looked a bit more modern inside the apartment rooms as they looked quite dated. I think the money charged for the room is more for the view than the quality of the room. The bed was not the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on and the pillows were not that good so didn’t get the best sleep in the two nights stay. The over bath shower was terrible. The water pressure coming through the fixed wall shower head was awful. It took twice as long as usual to get showered. There was a spa bath too but didn’t try this. The motel did not have a lift/elevator so anyone with mobility issues will have to stay on the ground floor.

Had to change room, due to spa issue. No apology provided. Furniture (couch and chairs) in room in disgusting condition, old, ripped and badly stained. Cleaning left a lot to be desired.
