Es war sehr schön gewesen und die Unterkunft ist echt zu empfehlen.

Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen, weil sie eine ruhige Umgebung hat, nah der Natur. Zusätzlich waren viele Apfel- und Obstbäume gepflanzt, was einfach total schön war. Der Garten war schön groß mit einigen Liegen und Freiluftbetten. Hier konnte man den Stress des Alltags hinter sich lassen. Zusätzliche war unser Zimmer modern und gemütlich eingerichtet und hatte einen schönen großen Balkon, wo man Abends gemütlich mit einem Glas Wein oder Bier sitzen konnte. Die Aussicht war super gewesen, weil wir neben den Obstbäumen auch den Wörthersee sehen konnten. Das hatte schon echt Flair. Das Hotel selber war liebevoll und häuslich eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war liebevoll hergerichtet und wir haben hier nichts vermisst. Brötchen, Aufschnitt aller Art, Obst Kaffee, Müsli, Tee, Säfte usw. Die Betreiber waren auch immer vor Ort um nachzufüllen und sich um die Gäste zu kümmern. Auch der Wunsch nach einem hartgekochten Ei war kein Problem. Dabei waren sie total freundlich und nett. Mit ca. 10-15 min Gehzeit war der hoteleigene Seezugang zu erreichen. Hier standen Liegen und Sitzmöglichkeiten bereit und natürlich die Möglichkeit Baden zu gehen. Es war hier schön hergerichtet und sauber. Man sollte aber auf alle Fälle Fahrräder mitnehmen, wenn man die Möglichkeit hat, da die Umgebung einfach perfekt zum Radeln ist und man zu Fuß einfach zu lange braucht, um manche stellen schnell zu erreichen. Man ist zwar mit dem Auto in 10 min in Velden, aber zu Fuß braucht man ca ne Stunde! Mit dem Rad ca 30 min. Ansonsten kann man sich ganz in der Nähe Fahrräder leihen. Und sonst gab es ca 2 min Gehweg ein Hotelrestaurant wo es echt leckere warme Küche gab. Lag auf dem Weg zum Seezugang. Falls man Mittags oder Abends in der Nähe was essen möchte. Kaffe und Apfelstrudel stand auch zur Verfügung. Das ist wichtig zu beachten, weil es in dieser Unterkunft nur Frühstück gibt.

Relax

Our 4th stop on a 10-day vacation in Austria. From all stops, this is where we had the best sleep. Comfortable bed and the balcony at the second highest floor was great. Deers walking in the view gracing, fishes in the pond. Got a homey feel, and our pace came down a bit. A few places for bathing in the lake were included. This was appreciated as a lot of the lakeside is private. For us it won't be suited for a long stay but definately great for a few days to relax.

There is a short walk to the nearest access for the lake if you want to go for a swim, unfortunately the road where people travel quite fast goes just outside which is a bit noise and disturbed the peace.

Very nice stay

Nice location, good for a walk to the lake side. Beautiful garden of the property, very fresh and clean air all around. We spend 1 transit night there while going to the Mediterranean sea in Italy.

Very good

Views from the room were unbelievably stunning and a very relaxing location. Pizza restaurant and lake in walking distance, can't get better than that! Staff also very friendly and welcoming

Superb

Very good location, very friendly and supportive staff. Facilities are good, well maintained and with a lot of care. We can 💯 recommend it.

Wifi coverage a bit spotty at times, but we raised issue with the manager and the problem was addressed immediately.

Very good

Quiet place in the heart of a nice residential area with a big garden, only a few minutes drive from Velden with it's restaurants and promenades. Nice and quiet during the night time. I've also liked the beach area, it's around 7 min walk though, but you can drive there, there's a parking nearby. The host were friendly and helpful.

Very clean and nice place, amazing breakfast, very nice host, the private beach is within walking distance. The room with balcony was spacious with everything you need, beds were comfy. we haven't found anything negative.

The room was exactly as displayed and promised. The location is great because you have many possibilities to take daily tours to different places. Either directly from the hotel or with a short trip to the area. Great for hiking and swimming in the many different lakes around the area. The cozy private beach access is a few meters to walk ( 5 minutes) and well maintained. Waldesruh hotel is far enough away from the touristic place in Velden. It has a great garden where you can just relax and read a book. The room has a balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. It is family friendly and offers a playground for the little ones. It is a quiet place too. The host is very helpful, super friendly and familiar with the area and makes you feel welcome. The breakfast is recommended. Each morning a little surprise with cake or homemade jam. We were looking for a quiet place with the opportunities to explore the area. This place was just the right place for us. I enjoyed sleeping with an open window. All windows and door had Moskito screens.
