Mixed feelings but overall a good stay

The room was spacious, in good condition and the beds were comfortable. The swimming pool was quite nice and the kids enjoyed it. The staff was attentive to all our questions/requests (e.g. possibility to spontaneously check-in early and check-out late).

There was a mistake with our room which was not really cleaned when we got it. The condition of the room was rather bad but as soon as we reported it, the staff came to clean it and it was spotless the following days. During the checkout the staff acknowledged the mistake and gave us significant compensation. The room seemed partly unfinished e.g. some cables were coming out of the wall/floor. They were properly covered, but gave off an impression of an unfinished room. The hotel didn't have a restaurant and only offered breakfast and some snacks. I hope in the future they also have a proper restaurant because it seems that they have the facilities for it. Breakfast is ok, but nothing to write home about. They should have more good quality healthy/vegan options & add labels to all the items offered so that people don't have to choose based on the looks.

Very good

Breakfast was quite ok but food could be better. The view from the breakfast room was really amazing.

Drinks with fruit flavor were horrible, it would be way better if juices (even concentrates) were served.

Hardly any covid precautions

The property itself is beautiful and the rooms very big and comfortable with a wonderful view and great proximity to the shops and restaurants

Very poor covid precautions were taken. They had an open breakfast where the staff don’t serve you which resulted in crowded mornings of people trying to get breakfast touching and lifting the tops of food trays and spoons to serve themselves. Tables were not sanitised when guests left. Generally poor covid cleaning measures throughout even the cleaners that entered your room wore no masks or gloves
