I was glad that I picked the Ruthven St Motor Inn, and will return in the future.

The room smelled fresh as soon as I walked in. The bathroom was one of the cleanest I have ever seen in a Motel, and I have been in a lot of them. The bed and pillows were comfortable, lovely padded mattress protector and a good quality quilt. Extra blankets available but I found the room the be warm enough.

A bit of a smell from bathroom drain, nothing a splash of vinegar won't fix though.

Great place to stay in Toowoomba

The space was exactly as in the photos. Clean and tidy. Loved having the 2 separate rooms with very comfortable beds. Great bathroom and shower with choices of body wash and shampoos, etc. Off street parking was a bonus.

We enjoyed our stay, however in summer months in the bedrooms would be too hot

Location was perfect for what we needed at the time, plenty of places to eat all in walking distance for the motel. Room was clean and comfortable.

There were no fans or airconditioning in the bedrooms, so had it been a hot night we would have really struggled in there

The motel was clean and convenient. It would have been better if you could not hear other people through the walls.

The ping pong table was broken along with the bats. The showers and neighbouring rooms were noisy. The beds were too hard for us.

"Very Poor Customer Service. Very Disappointed!".

Nothing to write here since I did not stay at this property. However, see below.

The property was notified in advance that I would need to cancel the reservation which I had made, (and paid for on the booking com site). I notified the property at approx. 1800 on the day prior to my planned arrival. The property did not respond to my request to cancel the reservation and refund the money I had paid. Furthermore, booking com customer service were also unable to contact the property. Accordingly, after being told that the property had charged me for the reservation despite my cancelling in advance I called the property and spoke with a person who identified themself as the property manager / owner. They refused my request for a refund stating that I needed to provide 24 hours notice of cancellation to obtain a refund. I thought that the manner in which I was dealt with was extremely disappointing. Accordingly, I have titled this review, (based upon my experience outlined above) "Very Poor Customer Service. Very Disappointed!".

Room, bathroom, toilet was clean. Bed was comfortable and clean. I was happy to use an air conditioner like a heater so room was warm and nice.

I leaved the hotel in Sunday morning 8am. Reception was closed so I couldn't check out. I was little bit worry about a key.

might be budget in price but it’s the little touches that make it amazing

although on a main road it’s surprisingly quiet, the owners were lovely.

for a night stay, I didn’t use too many ammenities but the ones I did use I couldn’t fault.

Great stay and I couldn't ask for much more

The room was very clean with a comfy bed. Staff were very helpful when required. Location was a 2 minute walk to a GYG and Hungry Jacks amongst others. Room was a decent size with a fridge and microwave.

The street noise can be a bit loud at times but heard nothing from the other rooms. With the windows shut it was a manageable level of traffic sound.
