Beach side stay

Amazing location next to the beach with a couple of restaurants across the sand. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room clean and smart. A lovely visit.

Ehrwürdiges Haus mit tollem Garten direkt am Strand

Milkwood Manor ist ein sehr schönes Gebäude direkt am Strand gelegen mit einen sehr schönen Garten. Die Zimmer sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber gepflegt, Frühstück war gut und umfangreich, die Mitarbeiter alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

prachtig guesthouse! erg vriendelijk ontvangen, parkeren achter de poort. Lekker eten op loopafstand, en het strand is voor de deur. Mooie wandeling gemaakt over het strand en mooie schelpen gevonden. In Hotel heerlijk gegeten en ontbeten.

Very nice location , good service, our booking was upgraded to a very nice ocean view room. Grea service, washed our car for free!! ok coffee.

Breakfast could be a bit more varied - no buffet. The eggs course was a bit too oily.

Nice location, clean and neat

Lack of breakfast variety Taps take too long for the hot water, just a waste. TV channels are basic. & Pillows..please change from feather pillows. They offer zero support. Especially, after a long drive.

Excellent location, fantastic staff and good rooms.

The staff were super friendly and the location was completely faultless, especially as a breakfast spot!

The rooms were comfortable but fairly dated and tired. The bed wasn't comfortable, we both didn't sleep well during the trip. I think a refresh would be really welcome.

Being right by the front desk you could hear people checking out early. Some people were Cognizant of this, but others obvious.

It’s not the most modern, but Milkwood is a great place to stay in Plett.

The location is absolutely perfect, very quiet with the beach right outside the window. Great views to wake up to. Excellent soft poached eggs at breakfast. Lovely staff at reception and on breakfast duty.

Beginning to look and feel slightly dated (we’ve been visiting for more than 15 years). Need to sort out water pressure in showers (depends who else is using!), the strength of the Wi-Fi and the TV channel choices and invest in new, higher quality bathroom linens.

This hotel is in a beautiful setting with a good restaurant next door. The rooms that we booked was spacious and comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities were available and fresh water in the fridge. The bed was reasonably comfortable and the lounge areas pleasant to sit in. The breakfast was served in the restaurant next door. No buffet service but good quality food to order.

Towels and bath mat were removed on servicing the room but were not replaced (an oversight I am sure). Buffet breakfast would have been preferred for cold items.

Well established small hotel right on the beach. Very friendly welcome. Good food.

Milkwood Manor is in a wonderful setting, right on the beach at Plett with views of the lagoon and sea. Beverley and Alicia were very friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely big room and terrace. The breakfasts were varied and tasty and we had a very nice meal at their restaurant on one evening. The Lookout restaurants are also good, just a short walk across the beach. Plett is less than five minutes drive as is the large shopping mall.

The bathroom was quite small, especially as the room itself was a good size. The mattresses were very hard!
