Comfortable

Comfortable clean rooms. Host was very accommodating. We reached pretty late yet received a warm welcome. The view around the property was amazing with towering mountains around. If you want to stay in scheduled area way from the town, then it is perfect.

August month is pretty cold. There were no bed heaters. Also please note this property is in Betty's Bay, a place away from Hermanus Town and very secluded. We took a gravel road to the house and there is nothing round in terms of shops etc.

Friendly, helpful host. Great view, front and back. Very well located. Comfy bed. Cosy fire. Lights during loadshedding. Environmentally aware. Within walking distance of Rod's Trail, shops, restaurants, a pub and not far from beaches and the penguin colony.

Great location with a stunning view!

Great view, water pressure, and temperature!

May sound silly, however if you are paying then a bit better than 1ply toilet paper would be nice

A beautiful and peaceful experience - the perfect getaway for anyone who can.

Amazing location with beautiful facilities and an unbeatable view. The Mountain is your backyard. It's also out the way of the main road, so it's really great for peace.

In touch with nature

The beautiful serene location provided perfect location for downtime and getting in touch with nature. The porch swing. The view. Even though I do have children this was a trip just for me and I appreciate the hosts view of not having children staying the house. As it is a shared dining quarters and house. With private bedrooms and bathroom. Therefore it was very peaceful and quiet. Cozy clean comfortable bedrooms. Lovely decor and attention to detail

May have missed the no eating or drinking in the bedroom rule on the site when I booked. This would have been a challenge as I booked the room for rest and relaxation and didn't want to take all my meals outside or in a shared dining space. However when I queried with Fransel she was very accommodating and said that it was only a suggestion not a rule. It is a bnb and has a lot of facilities far exceeding a bnb standards. However I would have liked a sink in the dining area to rinse off fruit. Etc which I didn't want to do in the bathroom sink. And maybe just a Kettle and coffee little Station inside the room as most bnbs have standard so I didn't have to leave my room each time. Other than those suggestions a perfect memorable stay!!

Really didn't enjoy it at all. Not quite what I'm used to

I thought I'd booked into the free standing studio apartment above the garage....but my error going on the price paid. What I didn't like was that the rule states no eating or drinking in the rooms, only in the dining room. It felt like a strict boarding house in the old times, I really enjoy a satchet cuppachino in bed in the mornings....this spoilt my 2 days holiday there. But I loved my hike , so it was ideally positioned for that.

Pleasant stay

Loved the mountain view and private braai set up and separate entrance to our unit. The clean up service in kitchen was very efficient

I know it was due to bad weather and out of your control,but the reception for Tv was poor when weather acted up which also affected wifi

Comfortable Stay in Betty's Bay

The room I stayed in had a private balcony with a view of the ocean and a private bathroom with a shower and a bath. The shared kitchen/dining area had a cosy fireplace. Everything was immaculate and neat. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. I was sent a list of recommended activities for the region ahead of my arrival, which was very thoughtful.

Spectacular views

The apartment was incredible! Super clean and neat and the view was spectacular. One side was the mountains and the other side has views of bettys bay onto the ocean.

Always a charm

The serenity of the surrounds and the convenience of having shops nearby. The views were so amazing as well. Self check-in makes everything so easy. The host is very helpful which makes your stay so worthwhile. I've stayed here before, I'll stay here again.
