Comfortable clean room in central location with facilities close by

Good location close to Maitland Club, takeaway and shopping centre The room was clean and bed was comfortable Shower good pressure and hot Although room was small and basic it was comfortable for what we were after, attending an event close to Motel

I wouldn’t stay again.

Nothing. It is nothing like the pic above. The only good thing was its proximity to the club

It was old, tiny, nothing like the pics. Old curtains that didn’t cover the tiny window. Absolutely no Reno since the 70s. Even the road sign is old and hard to read. A real disappointment

The hotel needs to change the rooms carpet very smelly and needs to re paint and fix up abit,very old style

The room’s carpet had this bad smell and it stuck inside the room The rooms needs to re new everything and re paint,very old and not that much space inside toilet etc

Pleasant

Clean, comfortable and close to a major shopping centre.

There was no one on reception when we arrived (about 5.30 on a Sunday). Booking in was via a machine which had its problems (had 2 rooms but only received one key). This was sorted out after 5-10 minutes but would have preferred someone to be in reception at that time. My room was on the road side and was noisy at night (the motel adjoins a busy highway) - there are rooms at the back which would have been less noisy

A trip to see our new Granddaughter

Location, price,

I couldn't get access card out of machine, no staff to great us,only lucky staff member come out from up stairs to go shopping and had to open machine to get card out and phone some one to work out what was going on as 2 cards were stuck to gather in machine for our paid room. Hair dryer very noisy and didn't work to good. Bed a bit lumpy?.

Good value for money

Maitland City Motel I stayed here with my 85yo mother in a 'Deluxe Twin Room'. What we loved: This is only the second motel I've stayed at that had genuinely comfortable beds, thank you! My mum said to tell you she really appreciated the beautiful, clean white sheets and beautifully presented room (she has a Thing for quality linen). I received the invoice/receipt for the room by email before we arrived. What we liked: The room was clean and free if bugs/mozzies and appears to be recently refurbished. Everything in the room worked correctly. There were glasses and milks in the fridge. There's crockery and cutlery for three, a teatowel neatly folded. The motel is nice and quiet. There's a nice sort of suburban view behind the property. Nice touch: the power outlet with built in USB charging sockets, and the hot chocolate sachets :)

What we liked less: Our room was upstairs (only 2 short flights of 8 stairs each). That took me by surprise because the property info didn't seem to mention any rooms had stairs (there are 4 upstairs rooms BTW). I could have specified ground floor but I didn't think I needed to. My bad. Easy win: Please replace the two spare blankets in the cupboard (tatty and worn, one has super glue on it).

close to where we needed to be , room was comfortable and had what we needed for one night

the room smelt so strongly of bleach and the bathroom floor was so slippery due to cleaning products still left on the floor. almost fell over due to being slippery
