Endroit magnifique en haut de la citadelle au cœur des ruelles.

L’accueil, la situation, la vue spectaculaire depuis la terrasse, l’excellent petit déjeuner.

Petit problème avec la climatisation qui était très bruyante dans une des deux chambres que nous avions. Je ne doute pas que le propriétaire de l’établissement va vite régler le problème, car toute l’équipe est très à l’écoute et dévouée aux clients.

Very good

Motovun is a charming village, and so is the Villa Borgo. Staff was great, checking-in after hours was not a problem at all(they gave us instructions how to self-check-in, where to park, etc) Breakfast was very good, and with an awesome view of the surroundings from the terrace. Room, while not particularly big, was adequate and clean, nicely arranged.

Air-conditioning solution in the room is just terrible. It's a one-in-all system so when it operates it very noisy as the compressor is within the unit, inside the room. In order to be able to fall asleep we had to switch it off and open the windows, which only made a different noise problem - 20m away is a restaurant terrace, with its slightly or less-slightly drunk guests talking loudly until 1am or so. Thank good I brought earplugs with me, they were able to bring the noise to a minimum acceptable level.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Borgo - a very charming and rather quirky place with amazing views. Slavin and his team were warm, friendly and extremely hospitable. Slavin in particular deserves a shout out - he picked us up from the car park, seemed genuinely interested in us having a good time, and went the extra mile to find us two bikes so we could go cycling along the nearby trail. He also recommended a route and some fantastic stopping off points, which were great! We thoroughly enjoyed our Motovun experience and would.bot hesitate to recommend Villa Borgo.

Great view and location in cosy little Motovun villa

Location and moreover the view from the hill of Motovun over river Mirna, is exceptional! Terrace is for sure one of the best points of this accommodation. Very kind personnel and interesting breakfast

Superb

The staff was wonderful. Motovun is a walled town that is car free. The hotel staff direct you to a parking area outside the old city walls and take you then up the steep hill to the hotel. The hotel patio had a wonderful view of the countryside. Steps away from the hotel, there are restaurants. We ate at one restaurant with beautiful views. In addition, we really liked the hotel's breakfast offerings. Many choices! We especially enjoyed the omelets with truffles.

Great stay in the center of Motovun.

Close to the center of Motovun & walkable to everything. Staff is super friendly & helpful. The breakfast in the morning is so wonderful and the ability to enjoy breakfast & sunset cocktails on the terrace is an experience that shouldn’t be missed. Free parking was a nice perk.

Bed was hard & uncomfortable. Borgo 6 rooms are in building opposite the main hotel & do not have any view.

Amazing and big choice in breakfast. The delicious eggs with truffels boosted the start of our day! The view from our room as well as the stunning view from the balcony are undescribable. Parking costs were included and the hosts picked us up and dropped us off at our car. WHAT A SERVICE! Thank you very much for the wonderful end of our vacation.

Location is excellent with friendly staff and a great breakfast. Terrace is loverly but good luck getting a seat in the evening

Better instruction are needed as to where to park (we had a nightmare finding the place from the instructions, phoned reception 3 times 🙁), rooms are small with a steep staircase and the drains can be a bit ‘medieval’ but fine.Biggest issue was the rubbish coffee machine at breakfast too slow for the number of guests.

Great value in the center of Motovun

The staff was very helpful and solicitous. I mistakenly thought I had left an item where we had rented bicycles, and the owner volunteered to stop by the site and check for me. The view from the terrace is fantastic, and we enjoyed both an evening drink and an excellent breakfast from the location. We are also very appreciative of the availability of a ride from outside the town gate.

Atmospheric accommodation located on the narrow Motovun street where everywhere smells of truffles <3 Everything you need in the room, but the most important thing is to go outside, eat in nearby restaurants and drink local distillates, after that drink more at their bar and eat scrambled eggs with truffles in the morning :)

Absolutely beautiful setting and view. Fabulous breakfast. And great service, Slaven comes to pick you up from the taxi drop off and drive you up to the hotel.
