Great Hotel, let down by breakfast staff lack of motivation

The location was hard to find but got there in the end, very narrow roads to get to the hotel. The place once here was perfect and very nice accommodation and resturantserved a pricey but tasty evening meal.

The staff at breakfast could do with being a little energetic, I know its early but got the impression they had better things to be doing !!

Truly Amazing Stay

The Staff there made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The two guys there are amazing hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Customer service was beyond excellent. The food is excellent, the atmosphere excellent. We will be returning. I really can't praise this place enough. For what you get unbelievable value for money.

A fantastic stay with wonderful team of staff who made us feel very welcome

We had the most fantastic stay. The Staff were a real highlight- so friendly, helpful, engaging and accommodating with our last minute requests. They had a great energy and made us feel very at home. Special shout out to the house keeping team as the rooms were impeccable!

Staff were lovely, evening meal was good and breakfast great. We stayed in the Forge and the bedroom was lovely

The bathroom was a little disappointing as needs and update, one light not working over the mirror and some mold around window. Shower was good with plenty of hot water

A good break

Breakfast was very good. Location was good.

We are not early risers so breakfast finish at 9.15 is a little early. Not being able to access room till 4pm and out by 10am does curtail the stay. All staff very pleasant and no pressure however.

Superb

Stylish hotel with an interesting history. Lovely location. Room was very comfortable. We ate both evenings in the restaurant which provided excellent food in cosy old-style rooms.

Lots of character, good selection of wine and beer, and lovely food served by really friendly and attentive staff

The Forge room was a little on the chilly side due to limited heating option (small portable oil radiator). Needed additional blanket or heavier duvet for the bed.

Lovely spot for a weekend break with friends

Beautifully extended and converted pub/stables/cottage. Bedrooms were very comfortable and well equipped and dinner was delicious. Staff very friendly and efficient.

Absolutely perfect amenities, staff, situation and an excellent chef!

the property was absolutely perfect for our stay, the staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble for anything we requested.

The property was very clean and very well maintained. We had Debo’s room for 2 nights the room was very clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The bathroom was situated between the 2 bedrooms which was very convenient for us as we had our 11 year old grandson with us. The meals were all 5 star quality. The situation suited us perfectly as we were visiting World of crocodiles before arriving at the Swann Inn and then on to Cotswold Wildlife Park the next day, we will definitely recommend the Swann to friends and family who might be visiting the area.

Charming pub, great rooms and superb value for money

Great location, away from the hustle and bustle. Superb value for money, lovely rooms away from the pub. Pub is lovely, with a bit of character. Evening meal and breakfast (which you get in the price of the room) was excellent. Would definitely stop there again.

Cotswolds weekend

The Swan is a great place to stay, the rooms are nice, pub and retaurant good, food is very nice and the staff are very friendly. It's a good location for exploring the cotswolds.

We would definitely stay again. It was very good value.

The dinner was top quality, very tasty. The room was very comfortable, but also had a quaint decor that matched the age of the inn. The included Breakfast included a nice selection of hot items as well as cold.

I wish the end had some sort of reception room. There was no place to sit besides in my room or in the dining room.

A lovely hotel

Breakfast: A lovely fruit salad, coffee and cooked breakfast. The cooked breakfast was perfect day 1 but slightly undercooked the 2nd. Room was comfortable but not the one booked when origianlly booked but the booking confirmation changed it. There was a difference in price to.
