We like their staffs they are very helpful and very nice.

Very good service.

Our Room at the Executive floor is not clean but they immediately changed another room for us on the other floor. Not on the same level but clean room is a must.

The breakfast room was simply stunning! The gym and pool were also beautiful spaces. well thought out, form and function in equal measure. It isn’t often you get a nice 25m pool like that in a hotel. the rooms were also well appointed offering great views from the sofa and from the bathtub.

I liked it all. No complaints at all.

We love this hotel, best staycation in Beijing.

Loved the eggs benedict for breakfast! We were always warmly met wherever we went in the hotel and the afternoon tea was a real treat.

The breakfast area is quite small and can get very busy so time your arrival for breakfast. Please do something about the water bottles in the rooms, they are so difficult to open.

An old, deteriorated and run down place with a pricey tag, anything but a 5-star hotel.

Honestly, there are 3 things that I can mention that were positive about our stay at the Conard; the pool area, the delicious breakfast in the morning, and the staff in a general way, polite, courteous, and professional. The area is ok, although full of traffic and pollution, we attempted walking around and it was not a good experience.

The Conard hotel is old and needs serious refurbishment and renovation, that is a general statement and if you need to stay in a hotel in Beijing there are far better places to select. Yesterday when we arrived, we were allocated 2 rooms, one of them stank of tobacco but it might have been the carpets, who knows. We were told we were upgraded, not sure what the standard room looks like then... The rooms are run down and look nothing like what a capital city, a major name in the industry 5-star hotel should look like. We have mold in the room on top of the bed, the furniture and decoration are both outdated. The carpet has also seen better days. We had issues with the bedding, very soft, I just could not sleep properly, I was sinking inside it. This morning the staff kindly put a mattress topper (it is the third room we had at the hotel, similar bedding situations) and now it is hard as a brick wall, I just will not ask again because I have just given up. We also have issues with the room temperature, it is either too hot or too cold, there seems to be an issue in the 3 rooms we have been staying in. Last night, it was so bad for me that I ended up sleeping on the sofa chairs, a towel on top of the chair, and a blanket I found in the closet. We are supposed to stay for 2 nights but I just decided to go home today because honestly, I came here to relax and pamper and there is none of that, my house is actually in better condition than this place, my bed more comfortable too. The price is certainly exuberant for the overall experience and I have stayed in other 5-stars hotels in Beijing for the past 3 years without any complaints. Today is our second night and basically, I booked a room with access to the executive lounge, while the view is beautiful, there is nothing executive about it, not sure it is worth paying more for that access. As for snacks in the room, you will be happy to find water bottles, although everything else has to be paid for including the exec roo

It was really good overall, enjoyed it.

The breakfast was really great. After our stay I thought we would have to pay for the breakfast we had every morning, turns out it was included with the room type we booked. We also enjoyed afternoon tea in the lobby.

The one restaurant was not open at the time when we were there, but I think it was due to the fact that it was Chinese New Year and also I was looking forward to the executive lounge that turns out was also closed for our stay. I would've enjoyed a nice glass of wine whilst looking out over the Beijing skyline in the evening.
