Simple lovely and clean hotel

Hotel Aegina location is very good, only 5 minutes walking from port. Hotel is simple but very clean, staff very friendly and always smiling. Breakfast quite good with many choices: pastries, fresh tomatoes-cucamber, fruits, eggs and our favorite greek yogurt. Our room was simple, with little balcony and comfy bed.

Bathroom needs update, shower was so tiny with showercurtain and water was leaking to floor. Windows should have mosquito nets, as there was many mosquitos at night. We didn’t like the taste of coffee at breakfast, it was so different, but maybe it is our special feature. Our room door was squeking quite loudly, it should be put a little oil, the squeking was a little disturbing.

If you want to be close to the action, this is a lovely hotel!

lovely, homey hotel & very nice breakfast buffet w outdoor patio.

it was rather noisy due to outside street noise which is unavoidable but also conversation in the courtyard of the hotel, often until 2 in the morning.

great little hotel, ask for a room on the upper floor

lovely small hotel with simple but comfortable rooms and good continental breakfast. Great location a short walk from the port, with wonderful views from the upper floor.

No complaints. Some of the things mentioned in other reviews like showers being small are true, but really not important. We found Hotel Aegina perfect and would definitely return.

Value for money, close to attractions

The property is conveniently located. The people are good and checkin was hassle free. There is a balcony and fridge.

The shower is too small and water spills over to the rest of the bathroom which is a negative. One has to request them for hot water. There are no phones in the rooms.

To sum up, Hotel Aegina was great! I would definitely recommend for couples!

The room size, quietness of the room, breakfast and the stuff were great! We loved it and would like to stay again for sure! Reception team helped us a lot with our questions about the island.

The only thing we didn't like was the bathroom-shower curtain. While taking shower, all bathroom was becoming wet. And we were not able to clean it.

Great hotel in an unpleasant neighbourhood.

everything about the hotel itself was exceptional.

The neighbourhood was very noisy with neighbours arguing and throwing things at each other as well as dogs barking at all times in the night

Fantastic location, quiet, with lovely staff

Quiet location, a short walk from all the restaurants, harbour, buses and ferry. Great, helpful staff. Spotlessly clean. Room was a good size. Nice buffet breakfast.

Hot and humid aegina stay

Location,relatively quite area,a/c,kettle provided free of charge helpful staff,

Smallish dark room.No kitchette although other rooms might have them.

For short stay it was ok

The cupboard inside the room is very old and I didn’t even put any clothes inside it as it looks very old. The room were very small for two people. The water in bathroom barely goes down . Overall for temporarily stay it’s ok

Cold water in our room occasionally didn’t work which made showering impossible as too hot.

Short but awesome gateway to Aegina

Location close to the port but in quiet neighbourhood. Staff was very helpful providing contacts for car and boat rent. Air conditioning was working perfectly!

Shower a little bit too small for tall persons.

The Hotel Aegina is a great hotel for the price, I stayed here as a solo traveller in April 2022 for 2 nights. The rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable. The staff were fantastic and provided plenty of recommendations for lovely restaurants and beaches. The hotel is a short 5-10 minute walk into the port area, making it very well connected to the rest of the island. The hotel offers bed and breakfast; I didn't choose the breakfast option, but I met other people there who did and said it was enjoyable.
