la pulizia del bagno potrebbe essere migliorata, suggerisco box doccia al posto della tenda e dì considerare le richieste dì camera doppia piuttosto che letti singoli

stay here if you want to see the aurora. Very close to Skögafoss waterfalls.

Gutes Frühstück. Vom Speisesaal aus hat man einen tollen Blick

Das Hotel istrecht hochpreisig, wir haben nur gebucht, weil alles anderem Umkreis von 200 KM ausgebucht war und wir von den schlechten Bewertungen bereits abgeschreckt waren. Das Hotel macht einen herunter gekommenen Eindruck. Auf dem Bett und an der Wand waren Flecken.es gab nur ein Mini- Handtuch für 2 Personen. In der Eingangshalle wurden zwar Instantkaffee und Tee Angebot, aber kein heißes Wasser.stattdessen standen die dreckigen Tassen vom Vortag noch bis zu unserer Abreise um 10 Uhr da.

Good for short stays at least it was clean

It was quiet lovely hotel after a long driving day ! We stayed only one night so overall for that area it was good enough.

Views and coffee

Room was warm despite not having a heater. They still gave us an extra electric heater, since we Mediterraneans like our room to be hot like a sauna. There was free coffee and tea at the reception. Great views of the mountain from the room window. Breakfast was good, with 1-3 different options of oats/cereal, bread, salami and cheese, coffee/tea/juice and of course an amazing view.

Nice 1 night stay

Location of this hotel was brilliant. Staff we met were friendly and breakfast had everything we wanted. Cold meat, cheese and bread. Coffee machine. Room was good size but did get humid after showers. Bed was comfy. Everything clean. Mountain view from window.

Shower made room quite humid but was too cold to open window.

Would stay again

Nice reception area with helpful staff. Free hot drink facilities in reception. Rooms were bigger than expected with a wet room shower. Bed was comfy. Had the icelandic lamb for dinner in their restaurant which was delicious, cost £26 but I think that's good for Iceland! Quiet location and plenty of parking. Breakfast was basic but adequate - cereal, dried fruits, jam, peanut butter, cream cheese, cold cuts, boiled egg salad, breads, fresh fruit, juices & hot drinks. Fine for 1 night.

Guy on reception over charged me for our rooms so ended up having to refund me & start again but because of the exchange rates back and forth I was left slightly out of pocket. No hairdryer in the room. Breakfast was a bit basic.

A peaceful night's sleep

Hotel Drangshlid is conveniently just off route 1 in a very quiet, scenic location. Our room was clean and comfortable and the restaurant was nice. The included breakfast was ok.

Although warm drinks were available in the reception lounge area, there were no facilities for making hot drinks in the room. There was a tv in the lounge but not in the room, this didn't bother us, but it might put off some guests.

Easy acces to main road, Gulfoss, glaciers and Vik are closeby

Cold showers, if you're lucky the showers will heat up aftrr leaving it on for 10 minutes. Took 5 tries to get the warm water through + bugs in the bathroom.

Comfy, warm and accommodating staff.

Accommodation was perfect for what we needed. We checked in at 2am and left before sunrise around 6.30am.. so we weren’t looking for anything spectacular. Beds were really comfy and rooms were clean and warm. We didn’t meet any staff due to our timings but the people I spoke to online to arrange a late check in were really helpful and accommodating.

We had a lovely stay here. The girl that waited for us at reception (late check-in) was incredibly nice and available. Really appreciated the breakfast in the morning and great location!

perfect !

The hotel was beautiful and victorian style, it was clean the staff were pleasant, we couldn't have anything off their dinner menu and asked if we could eat our own food in the dinning area, they were happy about this and also gave us utensils to prepare our dinner. great service. Breakfast was good and great layout of breads and jams.

no dinner places close by, or shops.

Good location to get out to the eastern attractions.

Breakfast and the breakfast room were very good. Good variety of food and staff was helpful.

Bathroom could use more hooks esp since the bathroom is a "wet" room (shower open to rest of room with only a shower curtain for protection). A fan would also help limit the humidity in an already damp room.
