Perfect start to an amazing holiday

From the time we arrived Andrea was welcoming and friendly the location is perfect the view is fantastic and it was clean I would definitely recommend this place It was my first trip to Mauritius and what a fantastic start.

Great Value for money.

Very central to Flic en Flac public beach and restaurants. Amazing sunsets. Nice view from balcony over the forested beach. wonderful early morning walks in the shade. Andrea is a very hospitable and helpful host. Great Value for money. I was working a lot - the balcony was a great place to do it. Much better than staying inland at a business hotel.

Ce serait Très bien si c'était mieux entretenu et s'il y avait du personnel d'accueil

Chambre au 2e étage et sur le côté du bâtiment, jolie vue sur mer depuis la varangue, mais finalement un peu isolée de la rue, ce qui est très bien ! Emplacement très agréable, peu bruyant, plage à 50 mètres, magnifique , restaurants à tous les prix à proximité. Chambre assez spacieuse, rustique mais confortable grâce à la climatisation. Petit coin "cuisine" avec réfrigérateur et four uniquement pour réchauffer, mais c'est déjà ça, micro onde et bouilloire. Salle de bain correcte. Merci aux personnes qui font le ménage qui sont efficaces et très serviables. Un plus pour la varangue/balcon couvert très agréable. Le restaurant chez Pépé fait des pizzas merveilleuses mais les autres plats sont chers et pas bons.

Il n'y a pas de prise électrique près du lit, alors qu'il est indiqué le contraire sur le site ! Il faut se brancher dans le coin cuisine qui est trop loin ! . Nous avons eu à subir de nombreuses coupures de courant à cause de travaux, et l'irruption inattendu d'un inconnu venu vérifier la clim à 9h du matin ! La direction a été réactive devant nos plaintes en nous offrant une petite compensation financière. Le réseau wifi ne marche pratiquement pas dans la chambre. Le frigo est très vieux avec une clayette cassée. Enfin, une fenêtre se trouve juste en face du lit, sans rideau. Un collant occultant a été mis sur la vitre mais cela donne trop de lumière dans la pièce, même la nuit. La clenche de la fenêtre à droite du lit menace de se dévisser totalement, ladite fenêtre mériterait d'être réajustée. Il est enfin dommage de ne jamais voir personne : nous avons eu juste à faire à un interphone. Ce sont du coup les dames de ménages qui reçoivent toutes les plaintes sans pouvoir y faire grand chose.

Stay at Chez pepe

The apartment is opposite flic and flac beach with nearby restaurants and small food truck carrier but a bit costly as it is nearby beach. Nearby food Mart at walkable distance. Apartment was small but clean.

Sofa cum bed was not comfortable to sleep on.

fabulous apartments in a prime location opposite beach

the location was superb, across the road from flic en Flac beach and right amount fat all the bars and restaurants. apartment has everything needed for a self catering holiday. sea view apartment was superb. bed big enough and comfy. bathroom clean and tidy and hot water. really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to others.

WE COULD NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL AS IT WAS NOT TO OUR EXPECTATIONS .NO LIFT TO GET TO THE ALLOCATED ROOM ON THE THIRD FLOOR. THIS HOTEL SHOULD BE RATED AS ONE STAR.

nightmare

it was terrible, we had to find another stay in the same day. impossible to stay with the kid there

the AC was not working properly, the room was with view towards the backyard where all the ventilation from the restaurant was sent out. It was impossible to open the windows due to the food smell from the kitchen. As soon as we arrived the AC remote control was not in the room,it tooked 2h to bring one to us. Then, when e opened the AC it was not working, we left it on 18 degrees for 1h and it was barely making cold air. It was so hot in the room (since it was at lastt floor) that you could do a sauna. When we asked for another room they said there are none available and when I told them we will leave due to the bad condition they did not even asked what were the problems and if they can help. rude attitude from the guy that was managing the property (the person from the downstairs restaurant). I would never recommend this accomodation for families with kids...avoid it if you do not want to ruin your holiday.

Make this your first choice

From the minute we booked this accommodation we had continued support. All questions and queries were answered within 24hrs. Taxi transfers were perfect and all members of Chez Pepe Apartments and Chez Pepe Pizza Restaurant were so kind and welcoming towards us and always there with a big smile. The entire experience has been wonderful. The apartment was exactly as described with a lovely view of the beach and ocean. All facilities within the apartment were brilliant, fabulous air conditioning, free safety deposit box, well furnished and comfortable balcony, and finally well equipped with cutlery, crockery, glassware etc and an efficient fridge with small ice box. We have no hesitation in Highly recommending Chez Pepe Apartments. We stayed 21 nights and were happy to be there every one of those days.

Absolutely Wonderful!!

The room was spacious the view beautiful and the evenings where buzzing with local night life and restaurants. A real feel of Mauritius. Close to shops and bus stops. Amazing sunsets! Would recommend this place to anyone who doesn't want to spend an arm and leg. Make sure you book a room with a view! Well worth the stay. Thank you Anita

Superb

Very nice and clean appartment at a good location (beach across the street and very close to the restaurants and many street food). Nice and helpful owners. Delicious pizza at Chez Pepe Pizzeria!

Chez Pepe is a lovely apartment

The apartment was clean, safe, and perfectly situated. The rooms are very big. Anita (reservations manager) was extremely helpful. She answered all the questions or concerns I had before the trip efficiently. I wasn't sure what time I would be able to check in, but she made sure I would be able to check in without any issues. The restaurant at Chez Pepe was also great. We got discount because we stayed at Chez Pepe, the food was good and the people friendly. Me and my sister loved the apartment and would definitely go back

I liked everything. There is no sink in the kitchen. This didn't bother us, but if you want to cook, it would be more convenient having a sink in the kitchen rather than using the Basin in the bathroom

nicely located right across the beach and with many nice restaurants on the street. perfect place to stay if you just need a place to sleep when you are out exploring the island or doing activities around the city.

would have been nice with a more equipped kitchen since there were only were a fridge. there was also some funny smells from the bathroom and closet.

Great location

The location is great, over the road from the beach. Shops and restaurants close by. Chez Pepe restaurant downstairs has nice food.

The little kitchenette was lacking a wash up sink. Otherwise everything was good.

Overall great experience, no luxury but good value.

Location is great, room was basic but comfortable. Excellent value, walking distance for food or just pop downstairs. Great air conditioner :)

Wifi was very bad in my room (no9) I had to sit on the balcony to use the Wifi. Very little / no real parking, thankfully most people visiting wont bring a car.
