An excellent place to stay

A very quirky property. The staff were helpful, breakfasts were really nice and the room was comfortable. Location in town is terrific and parking was available.

There is a building site to the rear of the property which means it is noisy during the day and has lights on at night. It is possible to block the light by closing the shutters, and the noise is greatly reduced when windows and doors are closed. As it was quite warm, we chose open doors.

Decent room in a good location in Cortina with free parking

- Good location, 2 minute walk to main square, 5 minutes walk to supermarket (Conad). - Small, but comfortable room. - Free parking in the hotel (outdoor) carpark next to the building. - Roberto from front desk who checked us in and was there in the evenings was very friendly and professional.

- There was an old sock on the floor in the middle of the room. Room was otherwise very clean. - A little bit expensive for what you get, but I suppose that’s the price of accommodation in Cortina.

I have already preciously booked this location for another trip in August which I wll be canceling.

Cristinao was very helpful and considerate.

The rest of the staff spoke absolutely no English (and while I understand that I am a guest in their country, if not for my very limited knowledge of the Italian language, we may have been at a distinct disadvantage). Breakfast the first morning was somewhat sparse (i.e., no protein such as cheese, meats, etc,). The second morning consisted of coffee and a small roll with butter and jam???

Superb

the staff made the property amazing - special mention to Noemi, Mudi and Elia who were such great hosts and interesting people. the breakfasts are amazing and Ambra is close to the bus shuttle to the snow. the bar was also great.

our room was lovely with a spa but we also love a shower. We used the shower in our daughters room so not a problem but when booking it’s good to know.

The location of the hotel is just right in the city center so it is very convenient to eat and shop. The parking is very good with plenty of spaces. We got the upgraded room which was comfy for us and it's very clean. The breakfast was ok.

Gem in the heart of Cortina d'Ampezzo

Ambra Cortina Hotel is a fabulous place to stay in the heart of Cortina d'Ampezzo. I frequently travel for work and was very impressed by my stay at the hotel - definitely one of the best experiences I've had. The entire staff - Mudi, Alessia, Francesca, Bianca, Tania, and the housekeeping and restaurant staff - are wonderful and are quick to provide support and offer recommendations. I was very impressed with how each staffer provided excellent, friendly, helpful assistance and went above and beyond to provide the highest quality service, giving the hotel a five star service feel. The rooms are beautifully decorated and immensely comfortable. Linens, pillows, and towels are very high quality and provide an excellent night's sleep and the bathroom amenities are excellent. The hotel is well situated in the center of Cortina, close to all restaurants, grocery stores, bars, and cafes and is a 1 minute walk from the bus station with the bus to Venice. I appreciated the owner's meticulous eye for design and how each room presented a different theme, giving a unique and classy experience to the guest's stay. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of choices and options. I will definitely stay here again!

A very good stay for two nights

The room was very clean and the furnitures are very nice with comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent with oven fresh bread. The hotel is in a good location to everything you need in town and the staff are friendly and helpful.

There are some construction work ear by the hotel which makes the outside less attractive.

Hot breakfast with eggs, convenient location in Cortina close to bus stand and town centre

Rooms are typically quite small; this is more of a small B&B, but owner is marketing this as a four star boutique hotel with some kind of fashion and glamour gimmick, so you come expecting more and feel disappointed. Clearly overpriced for the kind of hotel this is.

Expensive, though peak season, for the price I paid I would have expected a bigger room with a shower. Rooms were hot and tiny.

Exceptional

The location was very convenient and nicely separated from many of the other resorts - leaving one with a small town feeling rather than a bustling resort scene. The decor and staff were also lovely - particularly we bonded with an amazing man at the front, Mudi. His attention to detail and attitude were above and beyond and we hope to come back and stay here again!

Great option in Cortina d’Ampezzo

Location is good and so is parking. Breakfast was also nice. The staff was the best as they try to accommodate all our needs. Special thanks to Modji (I hope I spelled it correct), from Egypt, who was very helpful during our stay.
