Beautiful "second home"

Beautiful Place to stay. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, I had a nice bathroom. There are two rooftop terraces, one comes with a pool. Awesome view over the mountains. But what makes this place absolutely recommendable is the awesome stuff! Rafik is a kind, warm, caring and welcoming person, who wants you to feel like home.He was always around and can give you all the information you may need. Also everybody else who was working there was amazing!

Rafik was an amazing host. Sitting in the downstairs lounge near the fire in the cold evenings was lovely. We loved the hotel dog Rox - very friendly and full of energy. The tagines were amazing. Comfortable beds.

Wonderful location, exceptional staff Beautiful authentic and wonderfully located. A good base for exploring the Atlas Mountains. The rooftop terrace offers great views of the region hight atlas and it is the perfect spot to relax after a long hike. Rafik, the manager and all the staff are very friendly

Raph welcomed me by saying "welcome to your second home". Initially I laughed, but it didnt needed much time to understand that he was right! Probably the kindest staff i have ever meet, he organized everything for me and offered tea and bakery without me even asking. Yes, I felt like at home.

Very good

Location was great for trekking near to Toubkal mountain. The room had a small AC unit, which we hadn't expected in such a rural area anyway, and the bathroom was sufficient for our needs. The bed was comfy, on arrival we were greeted with mint tea and bottled water, and the breakfast was great!

Peaceful, beautiful views with great staff and perfect location.

It’s a beautiful property, with an amazing view from the terrace. I loved the old decor and view from my balcony. Special thanks to Rafi who has been a great host making sure I feel at home! Very peaceful place.

The beds are not so comfy, but not terrible either. The restaurant has pretty limited options. I mostly ate in the center of town. But the attentive staff serve you with good care:)

A lovely hotel right in the middle of where you'd need to be, if you wanted to do camping/outdoor activities. The staff was SO nice. The facility was nice. Everything was great. Zero complaints. Would absolutely stay again!

Very nice location close to the start of hikes to Toubkal and other places. Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice breakfast, clean room and comfy bed. We really enjoyed our stay here and would come back if in the area.

Great stay with the family in the off peak season. Nothing was too much, we were looked after.

The hot water ran out, my husband didn't mention it so we couldn't have showers one night - but i'm sure if he had flagged it, it would have been fixed

A fantastic place to stay in the Atlas mountains with a superb host.

We had a wonderful stay at Dar Assarou. Raf was exceptional as a host and did everything he could to make our stay what we'd hoped for. Having a private parking space on site was very welcome. Breakfasts were varied and very tasty and we had evening meals there both nights, which were excellent value. The views of the mountains and surrounding area from the roof terrace were spectacular and unforgettable.

Some of the food could have been warmer, but things cooled off quickly when served together in the chilly temperatures early and late in the day.

Host Rafik is friendly, nice and helpful. Personnel is the best part. Beds were comfortable and rooms are warm and equipped (luxury ones). Dinner is good.

Taxes and all fees should be included in the total price that guests pay. It doesn’t make sense to pay online and then pay again additional charges in cash at the hotel. Cafe and tea are not good. “Basic” and “Standard” rooms are overpriced. Wifi speed is very weak.
