Newell Highway Stopover

Convenient stopover for a night of travelling, and the staff were friendly.

Close to a major highway intersection made for road noise. Facilities in need of refurbishment and not attention given to cleaning. Television mounting made it almost impossible to view.

Friendly, caring welcome and clean, safe place. for a woman travelling alone.

Clean kitchen. Big fridge. Safe environment when my sons were afraid for my safety. Comfortable warm bed.

I was a bit worried that the woodwork on the seat of one of the kitchen chairs was a coming apart. Could be dangerous if a large person sat on it.

I had to share my private bathroom with two men that lived on the property?

The reception seemed intoxicated, and he made me share my private bathroom with two random men who came into my room to use the bathroom and shower.

It was surprisingly comfy and was ok for a 1 or 2 night stay .

The very new owners were lovely and trying hard to please .

There was nothing around but I knew that when I booked . The motel is in need of some work and is old but saying that it was cheap clean and the room was larger than most modern motel rooms . The bathroom was in need of a make over but I am sure the new owners are aware of that and will get on to it . I wish them well.

The price, roomy, clean, neat, comfortable

No couch/sofa, maybe you could put a sofa bed in to accommodate an extra guest if needed and better seating option. No fan in bathroom. A proper full size sink in the bathroom would be better as too hard to wash crockery etc.

Excellent budget motel

Lovely comfortable beds, could not park in under cover park as my vehicle was too high but they allowed me to park opposite our room, very happy with that. Owners were lovely people and their MEALS SUPPLIED TO ROOM was excellent, both Dinner and Breakfast

Our dinner was delivered promptly and happy with our delicious menu selection. Lady on front counter, sorry I forgot to ask your name… Very friendly and accommodating. Even found me an extension cord
