Sehr zentral, aber SEHR laut

Sehr zentral, schön groß, sehr sauber, Kommunikation mit Vermieter super!

SEHR laut! Im Wohnzimmer ist es in der Nacht sehr laut von den Bars! Fenster nur Einfachverglasung und halten keinen Lärm ab! Im Schlafzimmer Doppelverglasung und somit gut isoliert! Aber für denjenigen, der im Wohnzimmer schläft fast nicht auszuhalten! Kaffeemaschine und Geschirrspüler funktioniert nicht. Badezimmer und Küche sind schon in die Jahre gekommen.

great place in a great location

located in the heart of bairro alto the location couldn’t be better. it was noisy being in a bars area but in the room the window were double and you could still sleep super well, with near no noise. apartment was huge and Antonio was an amazing host giving us very good tips of restaurants around

it is obviously not the property fault but the inclination of the streets in Lisbon made it quite a hard task to bring our big suitcases up to property. if you have big luggage with you I would advise take an Uber after our experience

Great location, comfortable and cosy stay

Our flight was diverted from Lisbon to Faro due to the sudden airport closure at Lisbon on 18th April 2023, due to the sighting of a drone flying near the airport. I messaged about the incident to my host Antonio. From the scheduled arrival at 11.15, we finally arrived at 16.30, but then Antonio was already waiting for us at the apartment to hand over the keys. Such a professional and jovial person. He took the extra mile of sending his favorite spots and cafes in Lisbon The apartment is fully furnished and has all the essentials. A baby cot was ready for my 9 month old daughter upon arrival

Taxi would not reach the front of the property, although they reached 100m from the apartment. This would be particularly hard if you are travelling with multiple luggage and strollers since the pavement (hardly the width of a person) and the roads are paved with cobbled stones.

Too noisy to enjoy!

Proximity to main center but the nightlife noise doesn't stop at night. Extremely loud, a great place if you don't want to sleep. Roomy comfortable apartment. Friendly staff, good communication.

Questionable cleaning - 3 different leftover soaps in the shower, greasy pan in the oven, dirty coffee percolator that was unusable. The night noise makes sleep impossible. Kitchen window doesn't close/lock. Bathroom sink doesn't drain well.

Best building

Lovely spacious and modern apartment with large windows. Lots of light. Probably the best building in the area and luckily not the noisiest street which is just 2 roads down. The bedroom has proper double glazing for sound proofing. The noisy party goers did not bother. Hosts were friendly and accommodating.

It is a party area so expect carnage every morning in the streets surrounding you. Lots of smells, broken bottles and rubbish. There are a few minor maintenance issues in the apartment that can be sorted out easily. It needs a decent airconi the lounge, will be more energy efficient.

Great location for what we needed. Big spacious apartment. Check in Lady very accommodating as our flights kept being delayed so didn't arrive at stated time. Would give 8/9 if it did have true air-conditioning units

The term "Air Conditioning" on amenities list is a very misleading.. a couple a fans and 1 unit that needs to be vented from outside the to be of any use (doors open at night in very noisy area) isn't air conditioning. Broken shower hose.

Great place MyPlace 🙂

The location is perfect - 5 minutes walk from Rossio square/train station, 5 min walk from metro station, in the heart of Lisbon, surrounded by restaurants and bars ( so you must expect to be noise, the people know how to party ;) but with a pair of wax earplugs you’ll sleep like a baby and enjoy such a great location, like I did :) ) The hosts are very nice, the apartment looks so nice, equipped with everything you’ll need. I would definitely choose this place again.

Excellent. My daughter was very happy and wishes to visit Lisbon again and stay at the same place.

The location is excellent. The size of the serviced apartment was just right. It was clean and furnished with all the required utensils. The person in-charge Mauro is easy to reach over telephone and helpful. The lady who met us to hand over the keys Luisa is very friendly and welcoming. Overall excellent holiday experience.

Very good

Location and surroundings of apartment is excelent, the communication with owners and check-in was nice and fast, elevator (was useful as we were with the 2-years-old & stroller), rooms are spacy and comfortable.

The situation with the bathroom/shower wall (broken silicone edge) and coziness, also the kitchen/tableware (dishes with scratched edges, lack of glasses) could be improved.

Great stay at Bairro Alto

Excellent location in the heart of Bairro Alto. close to public transport(bus and tram spot 3 min away, metro 5 min away) supermarket is 4 min away and soooo many bars and restaurants in the vicinity. comfy flat, quite clean, nice beds and sofas. on the 3rd floor, no a/c.

it can get quite noisy in the evenings and nights because of the bars. if it is quite hot and you need to open the windows, that could be a problem for some people(not us) so they can sleep. but that is the location of the property.

Total disappointment

Just the towm

Chiped cups door handles broken shower leaked all over the floor, no constant hot water leaking roof in bedroom but the worst of all 12 euro was demanded for gas? This was not mentioned when booking was paid plus the pictures used for advertising are totally fake the apartment was totally different to the pictures supplied was some furniture was totally worn out I would not recommend this place to anyone

Recommended especially for those who want to stay in Barrio Alto

Great location. In the heart of Barrio Alto and close to main atractions and convenient public transport. We were during pandemic with curfew at 10.30 pm so nights were quiet but generally this is noisy area. But with closed windows it should be OK to sleep. Place was clean, kitchen was adequately equiped. Supermarket 3 minutes walk away. Bars and restarurants everywhere around.

Bathroom and kitchen require some work but the place was clean and tidy. It is just a bit worn out.

Disappointing

First impressions were very positive and nearby location was great. Immediate area quite grubby and seedy, approached to buy drugs three times within 5 minutes on leaving the apartment on the first evening.

Maintenance pretty poor - advised half lights in main living space out of order when I checked in but also another light bulb not working. Bathroom tired and not up to standard of other areas - grubby/aged décor. smell from toilet, shower screen not maintained so bathroom floor flooded each time used.
