Der Martinihof kommt auf unsere Positivliste der Hotels

Ein super Frühstück mit allem drum und dran! Alles da und alles frisch, große Brot/Brötchenauswahl, sehr guter Kaffee, verschiedene Kaffeevarianten. Außerdem ein geschmackvoll und geräumig eingerichteter Frühstücksraum. Große Sauberkeit und überall sehr freundliches Personal, sehr gut.

Als Bettwäsche wäre eine Baumwollgarnitur besser. Mit dem Synthetikstoff hatten wir jetzt im Sommer unsere Probleme hinsichtlich Atmungsaktivität und Wärme. Wer das Zimmer auch tagsüber nutzen möchte, sollte einen Raum buchen, der nicht direkt zum benachbarten Schulhof exponiert ist. Wir haben nichts gegen Kinder, aber der Geräuschpegel kann in den Pausen schon kolossal werden.

Klein, fein, zentrumsnah

Der Martinihof ist ein sehr schönes, kleines Hotel, sehr zentrumsnah und kann durchweg weiterempfohlen werden. Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt und sehr sauber. Sehr gutes Frühstück.

Clean room, parking is available, nice area.

Good location, walking distance to central / food area. Friendly staff, nice room, good wifi.

Parking place is a bit tight, but we're happy we got a parking space on the premise. Bed & pillow are a too soft.

Superb

I had such a cosy neat and lovely room, overlooking a nice corner of Münster. The room was spacious with good furniture and a sink. Light was good, well placed little lights. Bathroom was brilliant and there were several, so no problem that i shared it with other guests. Friendly staff.

I would have liked a kettle in my room. But I assume that it is against the German law. One could make tea and coffee downstairs and take the drink to your room.

Great location: easy access to to promenade, train station, and city centre Staff were excellent and shared bathroom was clean and there were three available on the floor Nice to have a desk in the room for work

Pillow was thin, the hall way floor can be a bit noisy if your a light sleeper but I didn’t find it a problem

Clean, Comfortable & Well-maintained with Good Wifi but Shared bathrooms/No Kettle or Fridge

The desk staff that I interacted with were all very nice. Patrick, especially, was extremely helpful in finding me a quiet room where I could work, as well as recommending some great places to eat. The pillows were better filled than most German pillows, but still plenty pliable, and the down duvet was heavy and warm. The in-room sink was a really nice feature and the space in the rooms was extremely well utilized, with wardrobe, desk, luggage rack and a colorful, homey decor. The showers had good hot temperatures and excellent water pressure with a very nice creamy soap provided and were cleaned daily. The wifi was fast enough for me to work remotely.

I arrived on a very late train after normal check-in hours. The staff had instructed me to download an app in order to check-in but provided no further explanation, so I spent some weary minutes in confusion when the touch-screen outside couldn't locate my reservation. I finally figured out that I should hold my phone to the key reader & ignore the touch-screen altogether. I wish the communication were more clear and an after-hours contact was provided. My room was also too central and not blocking the noise from the busy hallway, but the staff were great about relocating me. Some groups still loitered in the halls making small talk, so perhaps they should try to discourage that. Access to a fridge, kettle, and private bath would be optimal, but there was a nice dining area with kettle & tea on the ground floor, and the restrooms were well-kept. I can't imagine why a hotel that makes its own soap provides complimentary gummies rather than chocolate but alas, so it does.

Superb

Very good service nd superb quick response to any questions I had since booking the facility. Very helpful and welcoming personal.

Would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room cause no possibility to chill or cool your food supplies.

Can highly recommend.

We arrived after a long trip from the UK having caught the ferry from Hull to Rotterdam and then driving to Muenster. We were greeted by a very friendly staff, who made us feel very welcome immediately.

Everything was perfect, although there was a 'gig' across the road at one of the pubs on Sat. evening, and it was very loud afterwards with those gathering outside on the street. I guess this is the risk of staying in the old city, and the staff at the hotel couldn't really do anything about this.
