Very convenient, comfortable, great staff.

Breakfast was plentiful but the quality of items was a bit lacking. The staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful.

As above the breakfast quality was a shame, the choices were fine but the ingredients were not up to scratch.

Faulty Towers

Old style pub easy walking distance to the theatre. Housekeeping were jolly.

Parking payment difficult; coins and contactless blocked, phone app hacked by fraudsters, taking £1 without consent and causing bank card to be cancelled. Accommodation not signposted at the rear. Shower too hot. Should have been a hospitable & relaxing weekend birthday stay. Chef very strict, stuborn & infexable on breakfast stopping at 09:30, argued that we were too late and denied any cooked option (included in the price) or a lunch menu choice instead. Not an accommodating attitude.

Superb

Everything from the room, bar and staff was excellent. Also, with a car park at the rear of the property access was very good. There was no charge if left overnight from 1800 till 0800.

Breakfast was a little messy. But nothing to complain about.

Excellent location and reasonable room. Breakfast and lighting need lots of improvement.

Location and convenience. Staff were friendly.

Bad bedside lighting, only one very dim bedside light, we couldn’t read our books. Poor breakfast with no proper coffee. No breakfast juice. Very greasy English breakfast with almost cold tomatoes.

Great location but rather warm

Excellent location for city centre, with shops, parks, restaurants all within a few minutes walk. Good sized room and bathroom (Room 2). Able to use car park behind pub to load luggage and then move to a cheaper long-stay car park. Cooked breakfast very good but disappointed by only instant coffee!

Room was very hot due to lack of ventilation in the top floor. Although we had a fan, the window only opened a few inches and there was no natural draft.

Great breakfast. Staff were really helpful.

The confusion over booking.com taking payment in advance meant that I nearly had to pay twice and claim one of the payments back. Again, booking.com associated my booking with a totally different, unknown card. It was Will, who reassured me and hopefully it will be sorted soon. Noise from the street was a little annoying but I would stay there again.

Good accommodation, lovely shower. Breakfast amazing. Libby the manager I think, was very helpful and sorted out a problem with my payment being taken twice, speedily and she is obviously very knowledgeable and experienced

The flexible breakfast choices, the comfortable bed and the powerful shower, plenty of wardrobe space. The staff were very helpful with local knowledge

No car park on site, had to pay to park in council run car park. Room was cold, smelled of paint and our clothes felt damp after an overnight stay. Average cooked breakfast and didn’t see any sign of cereals, yoghurts, pastries or juices and not offered any.

Good value accommodation in a central location and the bar wasn’t too noisy.

Central location and really close to cheap/free weekend parking. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Angela and the manageress were great.

The bus stop outside means the top deck of the double deckers look straight in.

Had a really lovely stay here. Staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful, made me feel very welcome. Very comfortable room, amazing shower! Breakfast was great. The pub is in a perfect location close to all the attractions of Chichester. Excellent value for money.

Little bit of noise from the main road outside, but not enough to cause any problem.

OK for a short stay.

The room was clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable. Venue is in Chichester town centre.

The room has been recently refurbished and smelt of paint. It appeared to have been let out before being completely ready e.g. the pictures were not hung straight, the curtains were torn and did not block out light, the heater in the bathroom wasn't turned on, the coffee making facilities were not well presented. The venue advertises that it has parking - it doesn't. You have to pay extra above the hotel cost to park in a nearby council car park.

A centrally-located basic hotel, don't expect frills.

Location was as expected and was central and close to various restaurants. Bar was good, clean, not too busy. Bathroom was good, but needed, like the rest of the hotel, a little TLC. Cooked breakfast was very good with a "veggie full English" an option.

No hotel parking available, but there is a council carpark immediately behind the hotel (£14.60/day!). The cleanliness of the tight passage to the hotel rooms and the steep stairs were not good. On arrival we were told that they couldn't provide us with the dinner we had booked (but plenty of good options within a few minutes walk).
