Nastrojowe miejsce w odnowionej części klasztoru

Wygodne pokoje i ekskluzywne śniadania (restauracja pretenduje do gwiazdki Michelin) Ciekawe otoczenie klasztoru i bliskość jeziora. Wygodny dojazd samochodem do centrum Kowna.

Prócz części hotelowej, pozostała część klasztoru czeka na remont.

Väga isikupärane ja meeldiv koht kus ööbida.

Administraatorid olid väga abivalmid ja kuna meie jõudsime kohale planeeritust varem, siis anti meile ka tuba varem kätte, mis oli väga meeldiv. Hommikusöök oli väga hea ja a´la carte stiilis. Valik oli hea ja toidud samuti suurepärased.

Ettekandja professionaalsus hommikusöögilauas jättis natuke soovida.

Not 4 star but basic and cheap

Great unique building , very historical architecture

Place is not well looked after, Clutter everywhere, hallways are used as storage for old furniture, it’s not 4 star and facilities are basic. Bar was closed early and bathrooms are old and basic, beds are uncomfortable

Good

The interior is nice, but without the attention to the details. Comfortable beds, charming location near the lake and park. Breakfast is ok, I didnt really get all the admiration about it. Too much bread and quite poor taste. Staff is very well trained and welcoming.

Everything is very dirty. Also as many said before, it is extremly noizy near the hotel.

Feel care in 17-th century lavish monastery hotel

Overall ambience was exquisite. It is not often that you can stay in 17-century baroque style lavish monastery complex by Italian architects in the Baltics. The mediaeval guesthouse is converted to a hotel with first floor ceilings at about 5m high. Luxury rooms have big high-standing windows and internal 2nd floor is added inside these rooms to have the bedroom on a terrace. Standard rooms are in the attick with a low corridor leading to to rooms with tiniest windows in the roof. The breakfast was served a la carte and was really delicious.

Really, no complaints. Not sure how the hotel premises suit the disabled persons as there were a few steep wooden staircases with no alternative.

Breakfast /restaurant - very good

Rooms and furniture needs renovation. Very dark in roof rooms. Air conditioning does not working properly. No bicycle rent possibilities as stated in the brochure. Low value for money.

overpriced ++ amenities lacking for 4 star hotel quite noisy due to multiple weddings and rooms also a thoroughfare for restaurant and service personnel very small lobby area no quiet areas to relax in the evening triple rooms quite uncomfortable and crowded due to slanting ceiling

close to the beautiful park, lake and not far from Kaunas

unusual place with unusual design

it seems rooms need some renovation. there was an issue with toilet flushing which was surprising that cleaners didnt inform staff about that upfront.

Very nice location, and breakfast was just perfect !

A bit confusing was with the entrance of the hotel, we couldn’t see any signs showing where to enter the hotel at dark and park our car.

Superb

Breakfast was delicious. The suite was as shown in the pictures, very clean and spacious.

The receptionist could have been friendlier. They were not sure about the opening times for the monastery, and did not ask us whether our stay was okay or not at check out.

TV was too small (17inch?) and it was not visible from bed because of an interior design blocking the tv. Wifi was poorly and cuts every 15mins or so

Overrated and too expensive for such quality

- The location is really unique, really beautiful lake and park nearby. Interior is really authentic. - The room was spacious enough, high ceilings look great. - The food was really good - Quiet room and facilities - Great restaurant staff

- Internet in the room was unusable, kept disconnecting or super slow, basically I didn't have working internet in the room at all - To turn on the heating we had to get the remote from the reception by special request - Even with heating on it was not very comfortably warm in the room - The ceiling under the bed is really low so you have to crouch into the bed and be always careful to not hit the head - Restaurant room was really cold during the breakfast, so I had to eat with my winter down jacket on - There were no slippers in the room and the floor was tiled, so it wasn't very pleasant to walk on it with bare foot. We've got the slippers only the second morning - The floor in the shower is really slippery. I slipped and cracked my head. According to British and European hotel standards the floor has to be non-slippery, this hotel doesn't have this - Next day room service didn't stock up the water - It's really overrated and too expensive for such a quality. Unless you like to pay just for the view and "fancy" interior - Part of the staff feel like they don't care about guests

A very special place to stay

Very quiet place, full of history. Amazing architecture. Beautiful landscape, even November time! Food was exeptional, very nice selection of wines to complement menu. Staff very polite and inclusive. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants some peace and quiet. Wonderful place to rest. Especially off season! Will definitely be coming back again, thank you for hospitality.

Fantastic for a relaxing 24 hours.

An amazing hotel in an old monastery just outside Kaunas with stylish rooms and a great restaurant. Great walks just outside the door.

The lack of attention of details brings the score down a bit. So, makeshift candleholders and synthetic napkins is not my cup of tea.
