Great location and value for money

Value for money, clean and friendly, very pleasant stay for 2 or 3 nights . Would use again.

Early access to room at 2pm was nice, friendly staff, very clean, matched the value I would say. liked having a desk to work at and the location suited my needs very well. tea and coffee facilities and a mini fridge which came in very handy as the days and nights were humid. The breakfast in the cafe was very good indeed, breakfast staff also very welcoming.

I did not like not having air conditioning, although a fan was provided and windows open it remained overly humid for the outside temperature, day and night The lighting was dull and insufficient - old D fittings in main light - save yourselves money and improve customer comfort by simply changing to LED fittings. Bed OK but could hear springs when turning over, but couldn't feel them.

A pleasant short stay with some minor improvements possible

- Breakfast was good. - Location of the hotel was fantastic, with the beach being just a short walk away & an array of restaurants to choose from nearby and across the road. - Staff were polite and welcoming. - Pleasant atmosphere upon entering the hotel. - Hotel was tidy and clean.

- Kitchen staff could have brought more hot food, pastries, juice & milk when they started to run out and had ran out. - Staff didn't reply promptly to my Whatsapp message and only contacted some time later asking if I had been attended to (which I hadn't). - Hallway by the lift smelled unpleasant for whatever reason - but the smell had disappeared the following day. - Once we had entered our room, we entered the bathroom to see what it looked like - and absolutely reeked of bleach that made us gasp for fresh air by opening the windows - it was definitely overkill. - No ironing board available and had to request one.

No hot water is absolutely bummer.

Good location, staff was friendly

There is no hot water during our whole staying at the property (staff said it was broken on the day we checked in around noon time, and it didn't get repaired until the check out time of the next day. The soundproofing is bad.

CHIEDERE UNA CAMERA VICINA AD ALTRE COPPIE

La gestione delle camere andrebbe rivista. Non si può assegnare una camera ad una coppia in un corridoio di camere assegnate a gruppi di ragazzini. Da mezzanotte fino alle 3 hanno fatto avanti e indietro dalle loro camere urlando nel corridoio. Siamo riusciti a dormire tenendo la porta del bagno aperta e il vortex aspiraodori acceso che copriva i loro rumori. Mi sono anche stancato di uscire dalla camera per rimproverare la gente, le cose vanno fatte meglio in partenza. Al check out è stato detto e oltre alle scuse ci hanno detto se avevamo chiamato la reception ma non sapevamo fosse 24/24.

It was okay, but it wasn't very clean.

They did not refresh and clean the cups refresh coffee/ tea facilities also milk The shower floor was a bit dirty, the bedroom floor also needed a wash! Very disappointed.

Would highly recommend. Clean, spacious, airy, quiet.

My room located at the rear overlooking street behind so very quiet. I slept really well. Carpeted hallways kept noise to a minimum. Room layout spacious and airy. Good breakfast offered in 1st floor café. Less than 10 minute walk to beach or main High Street but away from 'late night party scene'.

Not much! Small things. Shower base smooth/slippy and bathroom lighting poor for putting make up on. Mini fridge noisy at night.

Superb

Within 5 minutes walk of Brighton main shops and the same for the seafront. Although central, it was still quiet.

I've no doubt others will have their own expectations. For me, it was totally as I expected. Nothing that I disliked. All good!

The room is clean and comfortable- there is a hairdryer, mini fridge and safe. Staff are very helpful. Breakfast offers a good choice of options. The hotel is close to sea, shops and restaurants.

Great place to stay

Hot breakfast was very good, comfy bed, good shower, bonus was the nespresso coffee machine.Friendly staff. Would not hesitate to stay again, can thoroughly recommend .

Can't fault the hotel. Only downside was a bit of uphill walk to shops etc, but thats no fault of the hotel.

good location, nice staff - budget hotel shouldn’t compromise cleanliness but facilities were ok

breakfast was good. limited but set you up right. shower was powerful. staff were lovely

unfortunately this hotel is filthy. instantly when we arrived the overwhelming smell of damp in the room was enough to make us want to go straight back out for the evening. we paid a small price for hotel and breakfast so figured that’s why we got a bit of a run down room. the drawer handles were thick coasted in dust and sticky residue. and to top it all off we’d arrived to a nice present in the toilet for us. far from pleasant

the only thing we didn’t like was the new tea/coffee maker in the room I wish it was just a kettle , we didn’t like the taste of the tea or coffee so had to go out and buy our morning drink
