Convenient location

Don't book anything through the hotel. We tried booking scooters but waited 45 minutes for them to be delivered before giving up. Some of the staff is pushy with booking things for you.

Great location, super charming room, and really lovely courtyard with a bunch of adorable little tortoises running around

Water pressure in the shower was very low. Maid left our door ajar one day. Other than that, we loved it.

Lovely old hotel set around a central courtyard. Good air conditioning. WiFi was intermittant, sometimes weak, but mostly OK. Good air conditioning, nice room to relax.

No elevators. The room fronts a passageway, and there are no net curtains on the windows, so anyone passing can look inside the whole room.

EVERYTHING you would want including location and price.

The location is perfect. Center of the main shopping district, restaurants and only one block from the beach. No vehicles on the street out front just pedestrian The staff always very helpful. Rooms are exceptionally clean an well maintained. great shower! Breakfasts were basic but very good; exceptional coffee and a sunny second level outside dining. love the pet turtles wandering the courtyard.

Band music from nearby club was a little annoying Friday and Saturday nights. Roosting pigeons cooing at night. Neither were a big concern for me. (shower floor very slippery; advise shower sandals

It is a cute little hotel right downtown! Love all the old memories that they have furnished it with. The turtles in the terrace area are fun to watch

The location of the hotel is outstanding. The cost per night was good as well.

Staff were incredible, the guy working at the front desk was really nice and helpful! the location couldn’t be better as well, our room was huge and lovely hot water in the shower. there are even cute turtles roaming the terrace

Clean, quiet hotel with easy access to the ferry

The Hotel Mary Carmen is not a fancy, luxury hotel, but it suited our purposes very well. It was clean, quiet, (even on New Year's Eve!) and very close to the ferry. Wi-fi was fine, and overall, we were quite happy with our accommodations. There was no breakfast provided but that did not matter to us. We stayed a night here both starting our trip and ending, as we flew into the Cozumel airport.

Good hotel for the price.

We stayed for 7 nights. Overall, a pretty decent hotel for the price. We really enjoyed the breakfast. The staff was super nice and helpful. The best part was the location. It was perfect for walking around town, close to the ferry and lots of good restaurants.

The mattresses in our room were not the best. One was very hard and the other mattress was very old and lacked support. The bathroom had a leak in the wall, and had some mold around the area.

We had a wonderful experience! It is a beautiful hotel. the entrance was designed with beautiful vintage furnitures. The inside was beautiful as well. The room was great and got cleaned each and every day. The stuff was always kind and helpful.
