Mi Hogar en Tegucigalpa

El lugar ideal para hospedarse en Tegucigalpa. El servicio es excelente y los empleados simplemente maravillosos. Vale la pena resaltar al personal de recepción (José y Pamela); al de Mantenimiento (Reynaldo), las fantásticas camareras (Wendy, Lesli y Erica), y el espectacular equipo de seguridad (Edwin y Alexis). Me hicieron sentir como en casa, siempre dispuestos a atender la más mínima necesidad.

El desayuno es fantástico, pues además de ser estilo buffet, puedes pedir que te preparen lo que quieras. Las camareras Wendy, Lesli y Erika siempre me preparaban las famosas baleadas hondureñas, con una sonrisa y con deseos de ofrecer un buen servicio. Sería ideal si pudieran ofrecer el mismo servicio para las cenas.

Liked the place very much, but will think whether I will return or not.

Location, comfort, nicely decorated, willing to provide dinner for client to heat in micro-wave, willing to provide transport. The night guard/receptionist had initiative and truly mastered handling the reception and showed initiative for problem solving.

1) The bathroom: water temperature not ideal and water leaking out of the shower. 2) Starting arrangements for transport to the airport two days in advance, and at the very last minute, service failed; they argued mechanical problems but did not have a system in place to solve the problem and I ended managing to get an Uber at 4:00 am. Only after I expressed my disappointment and pointed out that management at another hotel would have already presented an apology, I received an apology letter about 10 hours later, too little too late.

La tranquilad en general, el desayuno muy rico, la piscina y las buenas vistas desde la habitación suite business, y uno de los responsable de seguridad fue muy amable y servicial.

La señal wifi se interrumpió durante una noche, aunque a la mañana siguiente se reparó.

Good place

The location is fantastic, the staff very friendly and willing to help you feel good.

There was no area available area for smokers,rather than the parking lot, and going all the way out for a smoke was not what I prefer. They have a very charming pool area they could be a good spot for this area, inside of the property and safe, or at least at nights.

We enjoyed our overall time at the guijarros.

First of all, the welcoming was pretty much on point, our space which was an apartment was well equipped with a washing machine and dryer. Our breakfast was excellent I impersonally liked the fact that the ladies were able to made me my eggs to my liking. The pool was the best rated according to the kids. They loved enjoying time with some friends in it.

The only downside which is not a big deal was waiting for someone to move their car so we could get out and about our day.

Do not recommend for foreigners

Staff was very friendly. Super safe location.

There was no restaurant as advertised. We missed a supper 1 night and the second night the hotel had to order us food from outside and it took 1.5 hrs to receive it and they tried to charge me delivery. I was overcharged for my food and drink bill at check out. And we found a possible camera in our room. The staff said it was a sensor to control lights but the lights and ac never went off while we were out for hours. No management on site and front desk is only open from 730am to 8pm. There is nothing close by and you must take taxi anywhere you have to go.

Safety is my priority no matter where I go, and Aparthotel Guijarros offers just that, Safety. The staff were professionals and they were very friendly. The rooms were cleaned. The atmosphere is welcoming. I was impressed by the staff and their willingness to assist. I am definitely staying there again. I am also recommending it to my friends and family.

I have nothing negative to say. I was only staying one night, but I changed it to 3 nights.

The king bedroom was spacious, shelf space and drawers in the bathroom make it ideal for a long term stay. Desks also for working. Fridge and microwave included. Breakfast was good.

Quite a bit of noise overnight in the stairwell. The walls are a bit thin.

We were glad that we chose this hotel.

excellent neighborhood with gated security. Across the street from the American School. very quiet area. the breakfast was included. You can eat by the pool. Our 2 bedroom apartment was large, with a full size kitchen and living room.

it’s not easy to walk ro stores or restaurants because of steep hills.

It was fine, the problem that I had was, that it was located two floor down from the main entrance and I had to go up the stairs to ,my room on the 3rd floor, total of 5 floors and I could not handle it. I am 70 yoa and you have no elevators available. I could not picture myself doing this for five days.

Nice stay but had a few challenges that weren't disclosed.

The rooms and facilities were very clean. The security was nice and area was safe. Convenient location and the staff is friendly.

There was no elevator and we had to go up 3 flights of stairs which we did not know beforehand. The breakfast not good, the fruit was fresh but cooked items were cold and overall tasted old. They allow you to bring additional guests but did not inform me that there would be an additional charge per person for using the pool or gym, so be aware. Parking was very tight.

It was a great experience!

It was my first time in Honduras and also my first time staying in an apartment style hotel. I must say it was very clean and very comfortable. The hotel is quite close to many things like a mall and some restaurants. Staff was very friendly as well. I will definitely be going back to this hotel the next time I am in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

The cooking utensils are kind of worn out and the plastic spatulas are not made well so they can melt easily. The pots and pans are also very worn so food sticks quite easily, but I don't have to much to complain about that since I am not new to cooking and I can still make it work even if they aren't the best quality.
