Agradable

Muy limpio, buena ubicación y la cama era muy cómoda y la habitación tiene una bonita vista hacia el parque japonés. Las instalaciones cuentan con un baño amplio y comedor limpios y ordenados.

La habitación más grande no contaba con baño privado como salía en la descripción, es un solo baño para todos. No hay personal disponible entre las 19 a 9 am por lo que cualquier inconveniente no se puede solucionar, tampoco responden los mensajes de WhatsApp.

Sitio correcto por el precio.

El desayuno es muy justo. Frío en la habitación. La incomodidad del baño compartido. Le faltaría un poco de cuidado en general.

A comfortable, friendly stay.

The room was really comfortable and clean. It was easy to meet others in this accommodation as breakfast was on a lovely large table in the dinning room and the outdoor area was small/cosy making it easy to speak to others if you wanted to. The kitchen although small had every you needed.

There was no receptionist after a certain hour (4pm?) and the self-check in system didn't work well. Often when new guests had problems getting in they would have to ring the bell and get the attention of other guests to be let in. Other times potential guests would ring the bell as management didn't answer their calls/messages etc..

Un buen lugar para estar, pero de pasada

El desayuno y nerissa, la mujer que atendía y estaba cargo de hacer la mantención del hostel. La infraestructura y la ubicación buenísimas!

Es un poco hacinado. Se acumula una mezcla de olores en la habitación. Esto se acentúa cuando está lleno de gente. El piso del baño quedaba muy mojado en la noche y no había nadie para limpiarlo

A small and cute hostel. comfortable bed. A sitting area in the living room and another on the patio outside. Very nice staff but only speak Spanish. Excellent location near the Japanese garden and very close to the main square. 10 minutes walk from the bus terminal. good breakfast. I loved the place

Very small kitchen (but well equipped). The wifi doesn't really work on the patio. Very small showers. In general, this is a small and compact hostel. The team is there from the morning until 16:30 After that, none of the team is there. If you check in after 16:30 it gets complicated sometimes

Very clean, homely, relaxed, easy communication via whatsapp, friendly staff, easy and flexible check-in/out, staff allowed us to use the hostel after check-out to wait for the midnight bus.

Very expensive for what you get. They charged us more at check-in (you have to pay cash) then we booked it for at Booking.com (we didn’t pay attention and realised it too late, so we didn’t discuss it with the hostel). No tax refund for tourists. There are more guest then the facilities comfortably allow for. There was not enough toilet paper.

I was happy with my stay at El Arbol Hostel the staff were very friendly

nice communal space inside and outside.

the bunk beds did not give much head room and no ladders to the top bunk.

Best place so far!!

This has been our favourite accomodation in South America so far (we’ve done 5 countries in 3 months). The location is perfect, the place is so nice and clean and the rooms are so comfy… feels like a boutique B&B. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is very good.

Only negative of our stay was the wifi, it’s not great.

Really nice! I met some amazing people and in general i felt like home.

I liked everything ! I highly recommend El Arbol hostel. Everyone was very helpful and kind. The location is very good, near to the center, 20-25 minutes walking from the pacific and the faro, and as well 8-10 minutes walking from the bus terminal.

Exceptional

It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

The only thing which could be improved is breakfast. We would have loved one fruit juice or some fruits as well. But the jam and bread was always delicious and we got eggs or cheese. :)

Great option for La Serena.

Lovely, clean place with the friendliest staff. Great location, 10minute walk from the bus station and supermarkets and 5 minutes to the main plaza.

It's so close to the airport and located in a pleasant area. Service was ok.
