Best thing was the comfortable bed.

Little choice if you don’t have a cooked breakfast

No lift so had to lug suitcases up several flights of stairs.

The people running the hotel were very warm and friendly and exceptionally helpful

Perfect location for a hospital appointment, which was within walking distance. Plus the staff were friendly and helpful

Es war unser zweiter Besuch in dem Hotel. Wir haben dort zu Abend gegessen und auch gefrühstückt. Das Personal ist sehr nett, die Zimmer, das Bad und die Betten sind sehr gut. Parkplätze sind auch vorhanden.

The meal was good value for money.

Pleasant Stay

This was a super venue with on site parking and a restaurant with lovely food. All the staff were very friendly as was the proprietor who was super helpful too. Despite the rooms being near the pub/restaurant, they were sectioned off so we didn't hear a thing during our stay. The room itself was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well maintained.. I'd thoroughly recommend booking if you're looking for a accommodation that's in a good location and is good value for money.

The location was good, not too far from where we needed to be.

With having the first room on the first floor, there was a door to access each floor, normally found in most standardised hotels. But we found ourselves being woken up and disturbed by the door slamming behind anyone walking off the floor, as the door didn't have any mechanism to slow it down or a component to reduce the noise upon closing. The second night we stayed the room wasn't cleaned, the towels we had to reuse and the coffee wasn't replenished. The sheets had stains on from the previous guest, the light fixing on the ceiling was broken, the room had no AC all we had was a fan which didn't achieve much.

It was a pleasant and comfortable stay.

The breakfast was very generous. We had a very good dinner in the hotel the night before. We had secure off street parking.

The address that was given on the receipt wasn’t even in the same town! We wasted more than half an hour chasing around Portsmouth when, in fact it was in Cosham.

The room was of perfect size. The bed is very large but what's more important - very comfortable. The food is good. The overall impression is very good!

Although I hadn’t pre-booked breakfast I paid in the day and it was lovely and good value for money.

Polite & helpful staff. Rooms were clean and towels changed daily. Nice big cooked breakfast.

Room was smaller that the photo implied and the wardrobe is actually a small pole with 5 hangers. Bed was very hard.

Comfortable bed, nice restaurant/pub, friendly staff, clean rooms

noise of the fire door when people left (I was room number 1 so started to slam from 6am) the temperature of the room was very warm and couldn’t be changed.
