VRBO did nothing for me. I could’ve had just as wonderful vacation going directly with keys vacation. I will never use Vrbo again. You are a waste of money.

House is located few blocks from the beach pathway and dead-end street, so not much traffic. Conveniently located between "downtown" area and historic section of Corolla. Very pleasant bike ride in both directions. House was well equipped in kitchen appliances and cookware and three refrigerators were enough to keep groceries and cook/dine during the days we were not feeling like going out. The only thing that I saw during stays in other houses/areas that I was missing here is the book with previous guests' suggestions on items they enjoyed the most and highly recommended. For someone visiting OBX for the first time it is a very helpful tool that I always use and make sure to leave my notes for the future guests as well.

Awesome property. Brand new build in a quiet neighborhood. About 0.6m from the beach access which was nice. We had 15 people total and fit everyone pretty comfortably. Everything worked from the hot tub to the grill. Only con was the house wasn’t stocked on kitchen supplies (paper towels, soap, water, detergent) but didn’t bother us. Everyone has their own balcony and amenities were great as well. Would come back!

We stayed for five days and four nights. After a last-minute cancellation of a pet sitter, we checked into our house. The next day Kees vacations contacted us concerning our pets. We were immediately transferred to another house that was pet friendly. We enjoyed the beach despite the cold snap in the weather.

Overall, a great stay and a fantastic property. 1st floor master bed had a bed frame issue, and we needed help accessing the televisions that didnt have Roku; Maintenance was fast (within a few hours), knowledgeable, and personable. It was great having the entertainment space on the first floor. The pool table and shuffleboard tables were hits for the family! The pool and hot tub were clean and well-maintained. A beautiful house!

House is great but you should know…
House is great but you should know…
Stayed here for a family reunion of 12 ranging in ages from 11 to 73. The house itself is great. Plenty of bedrooms and bathroom combination to accommodate everyone. Each bedroom has deck access creating great places to be alone and be together. The kitchen is large with a moderate amount of counter space, 2 dishwashers, 2 fridges, microwave, stove, dual oven, and a large sink. The dining room table is large and there is a nice sitting area in the living room. The back 3rd floor deck is large and a great place to have dinner as the setting sun hits the other side of the house in the evenings. The pool is a great size and the hot tub is a nice size as well. The pool table is older and a little uneven but works fine. The shuffle board is scratched up but you can still get in a serviceable game. Downstairs near the pool table is another fridge perfect for poolside refreshments. All the challenges we faced were with linens, housekeeping, and some missing kitchen items. We arrived to a very dirty dining room and living room. It appeared to have been tidied but there were still crumbs on the countertops, on the living room rug, and in between cushions on the couch. Management company was responsive but by that time we had already vacuumed and cleaned it ourselves. 2 of our beds were missing linens and it took 3 days to receive them. This was during a holiday weekend but the first two times we were told they didn’t have any to give us. In every case, the management company was responsive but the issue wasn’t taken care of promptly. Things you should know: -Convenient location but in a neighborhood that is still being built. Loud saws and hammering happened outside our door all week -Great access to beach but no beach chairs, no boogie boards, no beach towels so bring your own. -bicycles were great but no helmets so bring your own. -No pizza cutter, coffee grinder, or seafood size or pasta pot. -Wi-Fi was decent but connecting to smart tv is challenging. In addition the Wi-Fi connection gets kicked off frequently. -Backyard sprinklers go off at 6:00pm every night which is pretty inconvenient as that is prime time to be outside using the grill and sitting around the pool. Early morning sprinkler schedule would have made more sense. Overall, was happy with the house but it was the little things that were unexpected.
