Charming cottage in Dorset.

A lovely cottage in a superb location. A good base for the Jurassic coast, steam train to Swanage, or walking in the Isle of Purbeck. The beds were comfy, there was everything we needed for 4 adults, 3 under 8s and a baby. The tray of food was a lovely surprise. Being next door to a pub serving food was a bonus.

There are steps at each doorway, to allow access without ducking through low doorways. This is clear in the description & wasn't a problem for us but children under 5 might struggle.

Lovely old cottage

Needed a deep clean, too many bugs & spiders and the steps weren’t child friendly, a shame as they could do so much with the little garden

Lovey cottage, situated in prime location for visiting the great Dorset coastline

Beds were extremely comfortable/ bedding/sheets etc clean and fresh. Great space - good sized rooms etc. it was very cold outside and whilst some radiators didn’t work, electric heaters were provided and the cottage warmed up. Kitchen well stocked and hosts generously left goodies which was very unexpected - thank you.

Could benefit from deep clean, but that’s me being very picky - so could my house! Don’t assume there’s going to be wood for the open fire …bring your own!

The location overlooking Corfe Castle and the large amount of space in the cottage. Well equipped kitchen including a bottle of milk in the fridge, a lifesaver. Bathrooms excellent. Large comfortable settee.

The hard stone floors on lots of different levels are a trip hazard. I had two falls in the middle of the night forgetting the steps in the dark. Could have done with an electronic fly zapper as there are a lot. Both double beds a bit lumpy.
