Ansprechendes Hotel mit eigenem Parkplatz direkt an der Porta Nigra - aber nicht für den Hochsommer.

Das Hotel hat eine Anzahl an Parkplätzen gemietet, welche man reservieren kann. Das war sehr hilfreich, da es sonst nur noch ein Parkhaus in der nähe gibt.

Die Zimmer im Hintergebäude sind wohl erst kürzlich renoviert worden und an sich ansprechend gestaltet. Warum man aber da nicht gleich eine Klimaanlage einbaut, kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Ein bereitstehender Ventilator zeigt, dass es bei warmen Wetter im Zimmer ebenfalls warm wird - und die Belüftung ist eingeschränkt. Eine Zimmerbar oder andere Möglichkeit gekühlte Getränke abends zu kaufen fehlt leider. Ein Supermarkt ist direkt nebenan, aber der hat dann auch zeitig geschlossen. Im Bad fehlt eine Ablage für Kulturbeutel, das Waschbecken hat auch nur Mindestmaß. Hier hätte sich leicht eine Lösung finden lassen mit mehr Ablagemöglichkeiten. Die Betten sind Einzelbetten, welche auf dem Boden verrutschen können. Der "Sitzbereich" hatte halt nur EINEN Sessel... Insgesamt alles etwas beengt, aber für den Kurztrip völlig ausreichend. Positiv: das WC war separat vom Bad. Das Frühstück war im Wesentlichen in Ordnung, es gab Obst, Säfte, eine Auswahl an Wurst& Käse, gekochte Eier, etc. Rührei o.ä. konnte leider nicht zubereitet werden.

Die Lage ist toll, direkt an Porta Nigra und Altstadt.

Das Zimmer war nur ein Raum in dem Bett, Dusche und Toilette untergebracht waren. Die Wassermenge, die aus der Dusche kam, war grenzwertig wenig.

Wer nahe an den touristischen Attraktionen ohne viel Schnickschnack sein will - der ist hier richtig

Super zentral gelegen - im Zentrum der touristischen Attraktionen. Das Zimmer war etwas beengt für drei Personen, Matratzen haben auch schon mal bessere Zeiten gesehen. Das Frühstück war insgesamt in Ordnung.

Das Zimmer war für drei Personen etwas spärlich. Matratzenqualität nicht sehr gut. Sehr laut und keine Möglichkeit anders als mit offenem Fenster zu lüften. Das Badezimmer war auch sehr klein.

La ventilation de la salle de bain super bruyante : elle se déclenche automatiquement et s'arrête longtemps après qu'on a quitté les lieux. On apprend vite à ne pas utiliser la lumière de la salle de bain...

Location, location, location!

Perfect location with parking to do a walking tour of famous Roman sites and the Christmas Market. Room was clean and comfortable with a nice breakfast in the mornings. Would definitely stay again.

Kleines, sehr familiär geführtes Hotel in sehr guter Lage, in Details verbesserungsfähig.

Das Hotel liegt sehr gut, sehr zentral. Es wird jedoch leicht mit dem größeren Mercure Hotel verwechselt. Das Personal, soweit anwesend, war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück hatte eine gute Auswahl und war sehr lecker, sehr freundlich betreut.

Der Empfang ist nur von ca. 7h bis 18/19h besetzt. Elektronischer Check-in war kein Problem, aber abends wollten wir wg. defekter Fernbedienung des Fernsehens niemand mehr behelligen. Das Zimmer was räumlich eng, ? ausgebauter früherer Stall im Hinterhof? Im Hof zum Zimmer hatten die Raucher ihr Reservat, für Ex-Raucher unangenehm. Unter diesen Aspekten wirkte das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis unangemessen.

Günstig gelegenes Hotel, für bewegungseingeschränkte Personen aber nicht zu empfehlen

Ausgezeichnete Lage (Altstadtnähe, Nähe zu Porta Nigra), Frühstück war in Ordnung, Zimmer ok.

Die Duschkabine ist viel zu klein. Der Online-Check-in hat wegen fehlerhaftem PIN nicht geklappt. Der Check-in vor Ort ist dann nach einiger Wartezeit gelungen. Check-in in der Lobby ist nur bis 18 Uhr möglich. Der Lift im Haus bleibt im Halbstock stehen, die restliche Strecke zum Zimmer ist nur über eine Treppe (Geländer auf der falschen Seite) erreichbar.

Handy for the sights/ 1 Night.

Great Location. Breakfast was basic, but nice and fresh. Room was clean. Wifi worked well. Bed was comfy.

My room at the top of the hotel and had sloping ceiling which I banged my head on a couple of times (my Fault). This also made the room appear small (It was a single room). Shower cubical was a bit small for me. I was only staying at the hotel for 1 night, so these issues were not really that major.

Stylish hotel in great location—has stairs

Fabulous location! Clean, stylish rooms and lobby area; very good breakfast.

More control of room temperature. Easier after 6 check in. Stairs are difficult for some. Elevator use still requires 10 stairs with bags! Not clear on the website!

Had to leave early because of train cancellation, but the property was exactly what we needed.

Location was excellent, staff was helpful.

It's a great place, very convenient location, beautiful flat, very clean and equipped with all you need. We arrived late evening, there was tea, coffee, sugar, milk, very nice. There is a marker downstairs, 1 minute walk from the hotel, open till 9pm where you can get everything if needed.

A little old fashioned but very accommodating. Breakfast was good and we liked the private car parking as the hitel is located in the centre of town.

The key coding - at least the initial key code which you have to get right first time. The 4 digit code for outside and our room was fine.

Apart from the complicated system, the hotel was great.

Close to the must see items. They allow us to park a car for a while after checking out.

Very complicated system for checking in/out. It doesn’t go straight away. They ask to proceed on their own website, for each room you booked. Especially I wish they would accept to use booking.com system for the payment.

Fantastic value for money.

Perfect location, you can easily reach everything worth seeing on foot. Hotel was very clean, and our room was tiny but well equipped and quite charming. Beds were comfortable. Also, sound isolation was way better than expected.

Sign-in process is unnecessarily complicated, but doable.

Best Little Hotel You May Not Know About

It was our 2nd time staying. They have made improvements since our last stay approximately a year and a half ago. Staff very friendly.

The chairs in the apartment are very uncomfortable. Since the couch served as pull out, there were no alternatives, except for the kitchen chairs.

Hands down best place to stay when visiting Trier-

steps from Porta Nigra wall! Amazing value, had room 23 in back- it was like a studio apartment! Well styled, comfortable, roomy, smelled good! Front desk was friendly and helpful!!! VERY happy with this one night stay! Highly recommend to anyone via tiring Trier!!!
