Superb

- open to people owner with plenty recomendations of time spending - breakfest w/o big choice but tasty and fresh

- w/o AC it's necessary to open the window what cause noise from the road

Very nice lady owner who was very helpful. Clean & tidy rooms.

There are no restaurants nearby. There is a busy road next to the property.

Breakfast was great, but it could be a bit more elaborate, e.g. scrambled eggs instead of hard boiled eggs, maybe include bacon or sausages, and more fruit juice

Comfy, friendly and charming.

I really loved staying here. The place was very comfy, the staff/owner went well out of their way to help, the place was clean, tidy and charming and a great place to see the beautiful town of Hornberg and what it has to offer.

Very nice quaint hotel to stay at for a few days and do some sightseeing.

The owner was very nice and explained everything very thoroughly when we checked in. The hotel was located in a nice quiet area and the breakfast buffet was superb. They would gladly handle special requests if you had them.

There weren’t any nearby restaurants that you could walk to so you really would need a car to get around. Also there was a communication issue with the girl who handled setting up and serving breakfast. She could not speak English and barely any German as she couldn’t understand when I asked for scrambled eggs in German and had to check with the chef.

Perfect hotel in a perfect setting.

Owner was confined to a wheelchair but managed with help to keep the hotel clean and spotless.The hotel was full of memorabilia that made the place friendly.The setting was like a fantasy land from a movie.Breakfast was set up as personal as possible.Highly recommend this hotel anytime.

There was nothing I didn't like..You could not fault anything.

actually I did not stay in the property. I paid and checked out in an hour. I was hoping it to be a livelier neighbourhood but it was a super secluded area. The rooms are cozy and looked spic and span. the toilets also looked well maintained.

I reached early evening and the lady who is the owner of the house did not understand English at all could not tell or explain to me anything. however when o said o would like to leave she used Google translate to communicate though with slight difficulty but she managed to communicate at that point in time. just made me feel that this could be done at time of check in as well.

Highly recommended to all for a comfortable and memorable stay.

Lovely place. Cute humble couple who are such a pleasure to talk with. Although I don’t speak German, we both tried to communicate in English. Breakfast spread was superb. Room was very very clean and spacious. Wifi connection was strong. Highly recommended to all for a memorable stay.

Very good!

It was a good stay on a good location (near Triberg). The breakfast was fine. They are very friendly people. The room was spacious. A beautiful balcony with flowers. Very very clean!

Cozy and fresh

Very pleasant stay, nice view of the black forest from balcony, breakfast is also nice! The owner is a couple married more than 60’years, I wish them a good heath!

Adorable and affordable location

The couple who run this quant establishment are kind and helpful. Although we did not speak German, they conveyed their interest and hope of our having a wonderful time. Parking available onsite (very convenient) and close to Black Forest attractions.
