very good two night stay - close to Etna and Taormina

There were three good sized bedrooms, a large kitchen with a dishwasher and large fridge freezer, lovely outside dining areas and it was close to the beach and restaurants. A quiet location with off street parking yet easy stroll to local amenities.

Quiet villa with an amazing yard

The villa is very nice, and the yard is huge and amazing. We were traveling as a group with two small children and there was a mini playground with two swings, a kiddie house and toys so the kids could spend time in the yard all the time. There is a dishwasher and plenty of dishes in the kitchen, you can eat outside with no fuss. There are also some restaurants around, a pharmacy and one supermarket that is kind of expensive and has limited choice, probably with a car you can go somewhere else. There is no promenade with touristy stuff and shops which was good for us as we were looking for a quiet place. The beach is 5 min away by foot, this particular one is not baby-friendly as there are rocks and waves and it is deep straight away. Great for adults but for the kids we had to go to Naxos beach which is sandy and shallow. The bus station is 10 min away, you can go to Taormina and to the airport from there.

There is only one air conditioner that is located in one of the bedrooms, and none in there common area which can be tough on hot days. We had to sleep with our windows open and got eaten alive by mosquitoes. There was a repellent provided but these mosquitoes were just beasts that weren't afraid of anything. Probably mosquito nets on the windows could help. Also there is a lot of ants everywhere but I guess you get that if you have a yard.

Superb

The host was kind and willing. We could contact him any time, he was very helpful. The apartment was spacious, also the bedrooms very large. There was lots of place for our clothes and staff. We were grateful, we have two separate Air-conditions, we can use it independently. The location was very good, less that 5 minutes to the closest beach. 20 minutes to the city Centre, less then 10 minutes to the supermarket.

The kitchen was not too big, but for basic cooking was enough.

Fabulous

Beautiful spacious villa near to the beach and supermarkets We came later then official hours,but owner mother was waiting for us and show us city around,she was very friendly Great garden
