A great place to stay in Monemvasia, close to everything worth visiting.

The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The room has an amazing view of the sea and Monemvasia island, the stone and wood make up for a beautiful interior and it was also very clean. The breakfast was rich and tasty, we left for our daily walks completely full.

Quirky accommodation with fine sea-views of Monemvasia

The guest house is very well located on the sea front facing the rock of Monemvasia, which is within walking distance, via Gefira harbour. There is parking across the road and a reasonable tavern next door. There's also an excellent restaurant, Athivoli, five minutes' drive south. The guesthouse welcomes dogs (but there are house cats!). The hosts' welcome is friendly and casual, the atmosphere is relaxed, and breakfast, served on the patio at the back (where the guesthouse entrance is) is simple but pleasant. Our room, a duplex, was quirky, kind of 'old hippy' in feel; it had a balcony facing the sea and Monemvasia.

Not a place for people who have any difficulty coping with steps. To reach our mezzanine, there was a flight of alternating treads, one of the right foot, then one for the left: not easy to navigate in the middle of the night (the toilet was downstairs! The bathroom was showing its age - could do with touching up.

The host was super friendly, the room was very clean, the location was perfect and the breakfast was exceptional !! Usually I say lots of stuff in my critics but this time I'm out of words. Next time we visit the area, we won't even think about staying somewhere else! Thanks a lot!

Well situated in Monemvasia, with a nice view, very well organized space, clean. We had a parking place just across the house were you can find a very good taverna. The breakfast was very good.

On first sight it was nicely decorated and had a sea view.

Later in the night I found lots of ants in the stairs and a cockroach in the bathroom. Also there were people in the room next door, who arrived late at night and made noise that I could hear.

Perfect location to visit Monemvasia!

Theodore was very friendly! The room had a good view on Monemvasia mountain and a beautiful wooden construction. Simple, but nice breakfast with some toast, yoghurt and coffee on the balcony.

Good location if you decide to stay outside of Monemvasia rock, just on the main road. Nice owner. The breakfast was ok. Great view (of the rock) from the balcony!

Wonderful and romantic, never forget

A traditional stone house with a nice interior and comfortable beds. There is no kitchen in the apartment, but you have a taverna right in front of the house and other dozens of places to eat nearby. If you want to stay there, book a see-view apartment, because the view is wonderful and romantic, you will feel like in a movie. Theo is a great host, very helpful and friendly. He provides breakfast every morning and gives you advices where to go, what to visit. If you ever visit Monemvasia, this is a place where you should stay.

No sandy beaches close to the house, you need to go by car to the nearest good beach.
