Great location basic hotel

Room was very basic, we had no hairdryer no where proper to hang our clothes up and the wall had wires hanging out

Amazing time, would definitely come back ❤️

The location was perfect, most things I needed were with a walking distant and the area was just beautiful. I really enjoyed walking around town.

Near train station and metro

Nice clean hotel central location

Little bit rowdy people coming back from pubs late but ok as fantastic value for a central location. Rooms small but would be fine for a couple and was good for a solo traveller.

Great for a one night stopover

Second time we’ve stayed here and cannot fault it. Obviously not top class but fantastic value for money, staff are friendly and helpful, location is great and the rooms are clean.

The location was good

The room was more than basic. The room didn’t provide anything you’d expect, kettle, cups or even a bedside table. The mattress was as hard as concrete and the one pillow you got provided with was lumpy and as thin as a pizza. It was possibly the worst sleep we’ve ever had and we checked out early to get out of the dismal student accommodation decorated room.

Good budget hotel in central Newcastle

Very central location, a short walk from the rail station. Plenty of pubs, shops etc. nearby. Modern and functional inside, with a clean, fresh feel. Good ensuite facilities in the room, and a comfortable double bed. Lift to every floor.

No natural light in the room. Coffee etc. available in the lobby but expensive. Early checkout time (10 am) with the threat of a £20 charge for being late. The walk into the city centre was a long, steep hill!

One night in Newcastle

The Location was excellent , a five minute walk to the riverside.

For the price there were no complaints.

OK for what I paid but could do better.

The room was bigger than I was expecting. The bed was very comfortable and I was on the first floor which was easily accessed.

Staff were very unattentive on check out. One was in the back room on her mobile and the rest (about 3 staff) were outside smoking in front of the hotel. Not very professional. There was also a green light in the room that kept me awake all the first night and no phone in the room to ring down to reception so would of had to get dressed to get anything sorted. There was some inconsiderate guests who made lots of noise in the corridors.

Awful upsetting expierence

I have been numerous times as I like this hotel and the location of the place.

I went yesterday and I smoked out the window and then after I got a warning I said sorry and didn't do it again because I felt terrible. Then I got accused for smoking again when I didn't. It was this young blonde woman who I felt was picking on me and my partner for no reason. She was trying to say we were smoking when we told her repeatedly we didn't after the warning we got given. This resulted in me getting very upset and checking out the same day I was only there for 3 hours because she was so rude and trying to accuse us again. I don't mind the first warning as me and my partner were in the wrong. But second time the little blonde woman was horrible. My partner and I have booked this hotel beforehand for the 14th feb for valentines day we tried to cancel and get a refund but this was not possible. However, after the 14th feb we will never be returning to this hotel ever again. I will also be telling friends to never use this hotel again either. I will be using another hotel from now on not easyhotel.

Good value for money, will stay again if need a place to spend the night with my partner.

Staff were friendly and welcoming, good check in and check out times.

Shower instead of a bath, tv didn’t work, plug socket next to the bed did not either

Okay for the price, but the heating issue was annoying and spoilt the stay a bit.

Good location. Able to check in late and there is always somebody on reception. Room was clean and a decent size. Comfy bed.

No wardrobe/drawers, despite being enough space in the room for one. Had to keep all our clothes in our suitcases. The heating system did not appear to be working - when we arrived, the room was boiling, and it was very fiddly to try and change the temperature. In the end we gave up. The panel on the heating system was missing, so it may have been broken and causing the issue. Some black mould in the shower. The light for the bathroom was so bright that it lit up the whole room. Not good in the middle of the night when you want to go to the loo, and don't want to wake up your partner!

Good Location

Not once was our room cleaned and no-one emptied our bins. Staying somewhere for a week without cleaning is not pleasant, when we asked your staff to send cleaners, they did not bother informing the cleaners or do anything. We even had to empty out our own bins. There were no storage or shelves in the room, therefore these rooms only suitable for short stay, I would have appreciated this information prior booking.

Wasn't allowed to check in even 30 min before check in time, despite spl request sent in advance. There is not enough seating in the lobby area.
