We enjoyed this gorgeous, gracious hotel with its lovely staff

A beautiful hotel, with lovely staff who go out of their way to be helpful. The food was excellent, in particular the breakfast. The Eggs Benedict were delicious, and the Continental breakfast was extensive. We had a swimming pool right in front of our room, so if we wished we could have had a dip!

Absolutely gorgeous property

This is a stunning property with gorgeous fittings and fixtures. We stopped off on a drive to the Cape. The fact that our dog was welcome at such a plush property blew me away. The kibble in a Le Creuset was almost too much! Staff were attentive and we enjoyed a meal in the restaurant.

The main pool was being serviced when we were there and the other pool was small and cold.

Good but not brilliant

Room was spacious and air conditioned. We were able to check in an hour early.

The staff seemed a bit chaotic, the pool could have done with a clean and our WiFi was switched off before we left despite us telling reception we would not be leaving for a while

We had a very relaxing and wonderful stay

Everything was very good. The fireplaces were my highlight as well as the food. The hotel offered great relaxation

my room had a “king” bed when I booked but it actually had two singles pushed together each with their own linen so effectively I had a single bed. very unhappy about that.

Best and most elegant stay in the Karoo

The room was was perfect, and so beautiful, and the food just excellent.

This is our second stay at the Drostdy, and it remains one of our favourite getaway stays. The quality of the food has improved a great deal since our last stay in Feb 2022. We will be back next year!

It is a perfect stay with all the amenities on site.

The staff are well trained, friendly and always willing to assist. The Hotel ground are immaculately maintained. The security on the ground make you feel safe. The rooms are spacious and homely. Just perfect

I was disappointed at the selection on the dinner menu. The meals are also perfectly prepared and tasty, but too little extras that accompany the mail meal for the price being charged. I don't think I will do dinner at the hotel again.

An oasis after a long day on the road.

The setting is beautiful the room are spotless, fabulously comfortable and the staff are helpful and friendly. I really enjoy staying here.

Not crazy about the idea that some dog owners don’t clean up after their pets.

We loved our stay. Everything was fantastic!

waitress at dinner was amazing. Food amazing. Basically everything was just breathtaking!!! Loved the decor, the setting and the staff were so efficient and so friendly. The facilities were also fantastic.

It’s our third time staying here - highly recommend

Lovely location - best spot in graaf reneit for sure!!! The room was spacious, super comfortable and clean. Love the grounds, gallery, pools, spa & gym

Our only complaint was there was absolutely nothing planned for New Year’s Eve! We were in bed by 11pm as even the bar was empty!

FANTASTIC WONDERFUL

The rooms were great as always, dinner was exceptional - best we had the holiday. Breakfast was also good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful well looked after boutique hotel.
