Disappointing

The property itself is nice. We liked the building, the garden (though the peacefulness was ruined by the hotel organizing massages here) and the pool

Not good value for money and not a very relaxing atmosphere. The wine list is impressive, but not accessible. The food was too expensive and the preparations were 'haute cuisine' style, which is just not what we were looking for in a countryside stay. The atmosphere is stuffy, possibly because of how the staff are instructed to interact with guests - but also because there are too many services being offered, which the hotel seems to struggle to deliver. Some things we remember: when we were checking in, the owner interrupted us to do some paperwork, which we felt was rude. There was a table set up 2 meters from the door to our room, which other guests had taken for breakfast before we work up in the morning. Opening the curtains at 8am to find someone eating/speaking loudly right outside of our door was really unpleasant. We had assumed the table was part of our room, otherwise would have asked for it to be moved immediately. Overall, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Other than the room issue, our 4 night stay was perfect!

Stunning property in the countryside, surrounded by vineyards. Beautiful gardens, stunning pool. Breakfast was fantastic as was dinner, set outside on the balmy nights. We participated in the cooking class. The chefs and staff were fantastic. Easy drive to beautiful surrounding areas.

Being in our late 60’s, We were a bit disappointed that we were given the room that had a small entrance with a couch, and many steep steps to the bedroom above. Seemed that every/most other rooms were on the ground floor.

It was a wonderful break during a two week holiday in Sicily.

The remoteness and proximity to the Occhipinti vineyards.

My room was up a steep and narrow stairway.

Qui and nice.

that property is very nice and staff friendly but some do not speak English or are beginners in the work

the lush and dinner menu does not offers second option. so if problem with menu or food restriction, no option or por option. restaurants are far away. we bought our cold cuts, cheese, etc.. food and they where kind to set a table for our picnic.

Surely one of the most beautiful, hidden away villas in Sicily. Rebecca, Viviana and all the staff were exceptional and accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure my proposal to my now fiancé was extra special.

Lots of excellent positives

Every one of the staff were brilliant and super friendly; the room was great and very comfortable; the breakfast, lunch and dinner were all excellent; beautiful, quiet setting

Relaxing by the pool was spoiled by the flies around it :( The owners are already trying to find a solution - it will be a 10 rating place once they do

Disappointing at the price point.

The location and building are beautiful. Breakfast was substantial and of good quality. Room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable.

No coffee machine or fridge in room. Overpriced for level of service compared to other properties of similar offering in the area. Pool in need of maintenance and area around it plagued by flies from fallen fruit. Visited for special occasion, advised upon booking and this was not acknowledged at all by staff. Power outage in the morning leading to no electricity, air conditioning (on a 38 degree day), WiFi, water and pool cleaning throughout the day and no provision of generator. Property is not suitable for families with young children. Small details expected at a €425 a night property completely missed. Complaints and emails were not answered by management.

gorgeous country setting in a vineyard/orchard with a pool and a 5 star chef using the baglio’s food from garden. love cocktail hour before dinner and everyone dressed up. spectacular sunsets!

As vegetarians it was sometimes confusing as each course was small so having pasta as a main was sometimes not enough. It would be good to have a fridge and tissues in the room.
