An authentic and charming place to stay in the midst of outstanding natural beauty
The best thing was the very warm reception from hostess Josephine. She had prepared everything with great care and had some brilliant tips for places to eat. As the place is in the middle-of-nowhere this was a great help. The house is in a place of great natural beauty. And there were some very pretty black hens running around the well-tended garden.
The staircase to the bedroom is extremely steep and narrow, more of a ladder than a staircase. It has to be climbed with great care. The staircase is clearly shown on the series of photo’s but somehow I overlooked it. The terrace with table is in full view of the owners’ kitchen. I would have preferred to feel more screened off.

Geweldige plek, fantastische host en heerlijk huisje Mochten de fietsen lenen. Ontbijt was heerlijk, fijn dat alles klaar stond, waardoor we eigen tijd konden indelen
Als ik dan toch iets moet noemen, iets meer kaas bij het ontbijt! Maar is echt om iets te verzinnen wat beter zou kunnen, want het was eerlijk gezegd gewoon perfect.

Cozy house close to the forest
very cozy house in quiet place near the forest. The black cat welcomed us on fresh linen :) hosts were very friendly and polite. Wonderful place to escape from big city life.
